Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled a village in the LPR from artillery shells - JCCC
[REGNUM] The urban-type settlement of Kalinovo in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) was fired from 122mm artillery pieces by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU). This was announced on March 12 by the representative office of the LPR in the joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire regime (JCCC).
"One shelling (Kalinovo) was recorded from the side of the armed formations of Ukraine," the report aid.
It is noted that the Ukrainian security forces fired six shells from artillery at the village.
No casualties or injuries have been reported.

[REGNUM] The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the facts of the crimes of the armed formations of Ukraine against the civilian population of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics initiated two new criminal cases under Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (ill-treatment of the civilian population, the use in an armed conflict of means and methods prohibited by an international treaty of the Russian Federation). This was reported on March 12 on the website of the department.
"For the period from March 10 to March 12, 2022, multiple artillery and mortar attacks were recorded, as well as the facts of the use of the Tochka-U tactical missile system by representatives of the Ukrainian armed formations at settlements where civilians are located, and objects of critical civilian infrastructure of the DPR and LPR," the message says.
"As a result of the shelling of the Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Petrovsky districts of the city of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Volnovakha in the DPR, as well as the settlements of Pervomaisk and Stakhanov in the LPR, three civilians not participating in the armed conflict were injured of varying severity.
A total of 77 residential buildings and administrative buildings of the people's republics were damaged and destroyed, including a boarding house for the elderly and disabled in Gorlovka, the buildings of two medical institutions, one shell fell on the territory of a school in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk," the report said.
The ICR qualifies the actions of the Ukrainian armed groups as a gross violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War and the Convention on the Laws and Customs of War on Land.
