Gunmen Attack Security Operatives In Imo, Kill Two Prison Warders |

Some unidentified gunmen have killed two officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) in Okigwe town in Imo State. The incident happened at the Umulolo section of the town in the early hours of Wednesday. The officers were attached to Operation Search and Flush, a joint security task force established by the Imo state government. Other security operatives also sustained different injuries. The incident is the latest in a string of terror assaults in Imo State. Gunmen have been targeting residents in recent months, not sparing security operatives.
