Asayish demines 60kg mine in Raqqa |

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced on Saturday that mine action team demined a landmine, left by the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in Raqqa, north Syria. The Asayish posted on their official website that the mine was near a gas station in the south side of the city. The mine was stuffed with up to 60 kg of TNT, according to Asayish. Since last year, combat engineers have defused 79 land mines, 87 shells, 365 grenades, 12 explosive belts, and 25 missiles, all were remnants left by ISIS, Asayish told North Press.
