ISIS has not grabbed credit for the attack but it said on its Telegram propaganda channel on Friday that it targeted a military convoy of Sunni members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, or Hashd al-Shaabi) in Khanaqin late Thursday, killing two and injuring three others.
