If the bill banning LGBT propaganda and pedophilia is passed, all gay clubs operating in Russia will be closed. "Already by their existence, gay clubs are nothing but propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, but we also understand this. Let people who prefer same-sex relationships do not do it en masse in comfortable gay clubs that attract attention. Let them do it at home in the bedroom, that's fine. No one is going to catch gays, forbid them to engage in the pleasures that they allow themselves," the deputy said.
According to her, "non-traditional people cannot be equated with traditional people."
"The question is that it is forbidden to promote this whole way of life, to impose it, thereby creating, perhaps, the wrong idea that same-sex love has the same right to exist as marriage between a man and a woman," concluded Nina Ostanina.
On October 27, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a law that provides for administrative liability for propaganda of LGBT relations, pedophilia and gender reassignment. Information about this will be prohibited from disseminating in the media, the Internet, books, audiovisual services, cinema and advertising.
For such propaganda , it is proposed to introduce liability in the form of fines or suspension of activities for legal entities.
