| Port of occupied city of Qana shut down after Yemeni strikes to prevent oil theft |

It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... , was paralyzed after the strike carried out by the Yemeni military forces Wednesday to prevent the looting of crude oil, local sources in Shabwah said on Thursday. The sources said that the ship brought by the Saudi-led coalition left the port, after its mission failed to load quantities of Yemen’s crude oil through the Qana port. The front man for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, had announced at dawn Thursday the success of a new warning strike to prevent the looting of crude oil in Shabwah province. Sare’e said that the targeted ship refused to respond to the repeated warnings sent by the Sana’a forces to it. This is the second warning strike carried out by the Sana’a forces to prevent the looting of Yemeni crude oil, after a similar strike carried out on October 22 on the oil port of al-Dhaba in the east of the country. |
