Michael Avenatti Sentenced to 14 Yr term
2022-12-06
[CNN] Disgraced attorney Michael Avenatti was sentenced Monday to 14 years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $11 million in restitution for embezzling millions of dollars from four of his clients and obstruction.
CNN neglects to mention that Avenatti appeared 65 times on CNN in the spring of 2018 (also 40+ times on MSNBC) and was lionized by the on air network stars.

#7  They say "disgraced attorney" as opposed to disgraced CNN guest, which is pretty much all of them. Not to mention the staff...

#5  ...Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. And it's my understanding that for all practical purposes there's people going over every single case he's ever handled. I'm hoping that this moron will find himself facing civil suits right up to - and if possible, beyond - the moment he shuffles off this mortal coil.

#3  You know a person company, by the company it keeps.

But then again, he could always be pardoned if the price is right in late Dec. 2024.

#2  Consecutively? So he really might do 19 years? LOL, no way, but that he's being put away is wonderful.

And wasn't he considering running for president? LOL, what a fooking Bozo.
