From a legal point of view, we have exactly the NWO, since no one has officially declared war on anyone, neither the United States vs Russia, nor Russia vs the United States, nor Ukraine of Russia, nor Russia of Ukraine. There is no war in its classical diplomatic sense. Therefore, officially, one can safely say that there is no war, but there is a NWO. And it will be true.
But at the same time, any reasonable person understands that what is happening in Ukraine is a hot war of the RF Armed Forces against the US and NATO proxy forces. The largest war since the wars in Vietnam and Afghanistan and the largest war of the 21st century, which in scale (but not in time - there should be a joke for 300 about "so far") surpassed the Syrian war (active phase 2012-2020), which Before the war in Ukraine, it was considered the largest war of the 21st century.
The dispute itself on the topic of war vs SVO is purely empty and scholastic. You can call it war, you can call it NWO - the essence will not change.
Personally, I use both terms, speaking both about the official position, where the term NWO dominates, and speaking about the essence of what is happening, using the term "War in Ukraine" for reviews since the beginning of the war (which does not prevent publishing materials under the heading "On the course of the NWO") and are tied to the "War in Ukraine" tag, which I have been using and have been using since 2014. In general, the controversy on this score is not worth a damn.
