| Russia Warns British Challenger Tanks Sent to Ukraine 'Will Burn' |

| [ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] Russia has warned that any Challenger 2 tanks that Britannia sends to Ukraine to help the war effort "will burn". British prime minister Rishi Sunak confirmed the UK will provide Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine during a call with Volodymyr Zelensky over the weekend. Responding on Monday, Kremlin front man Dmitry Peskov said new arms supplies from countries like Britannia and Poland would not change the situation on the ground. "They are using this country as a tool to achieve their anti-Russian goals," he added. "These tanks are burning and will burn just like the rest." Meanwhile, ...back at the shootout, another bullet hole appeared in Butch's hat...... Russia and Belarus began joint air force drills today, which have triggered fears that Moscow could use its ally to launch a new ground offensive in Ukraine. |

| #7 Can you say token aid? There were only 447 Challenger 2 tanks built and even though it is a top line tank that is only a drop in the ocean. |

| #4 I'd heard UK could get Challengers to Ukraine, but not post to France. Their line was something like, we aren't sending many, but maybe what we send will spur others on. Guess its like Call of Duty, just run up next to the vehicle, press 'E', and bang pop know the ins and outs of operating a top tier armor platform vs. modern battlefield theory. Or will they be operated by "Ukrainians". |

| #3 Ukraine is now a knife fight. It serves no purpose to burn through an advanced armored vehicle like the Challenger, and the Russians know it. |

| #2 Western armor is very good, but not invulnerable. Some will be destroyed. That being said, building up a Ukrainian armored and mechanized brigade and watching them run loose would be very entertaining. |
