As a replacement for the foreign word "homosexual" you can use the word "bugger". This was announced on February 19 by State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov (United Russia).
“Even before the adoption of the law, I replaced the word “homosexual” with “bugger”. This is, in general, a Russian word. We cannot avoid using borrowing at all,” said Milonov.
In his opinion, the use of foreign words is associated with a "lack of intelligence."
