Turkish shelling targets Syrian government post in east Kobani

[NPASyria] On Wednesday, Ottoman Turkish forces shelled with artillery a post held by the Syrian government forces in an area located between the village of Kharabisan Fouqani and Goran in Kobani eastren countryside, north Syria.

A local source told North Press, "The outskirts of a post held by Syrian army was shelled with three artillery shells close to the village of Kharabisan Fouqani in east Kobani."

"No human losses were reported by the shelling up to date," the source added.

This is the first shelling against areas in the eastern countryside of Kobani since the quake hit north Syria on February 6.

From time to another, Ottoman Turkish forces shell villages on the border including posts held by Syrian government forces, causing deaths and injuries among civilians and military personnel.
