| [NPASYRIA] Canadian authorities arrested two Canadian women who were repatriated from a camp for Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. (ISIS) family members in northeast Syria and they are expected to appear in a Brampton, Ont., court on Tuesday, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said. The RCMP reported that the women are scheduled to appear for a bail hearing. However, ars longa, vita brevis... the Mounties seek a terrorism peace bond against them under the Criminal Code. On April 6, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) handed over four women and ten children of ISIS families to a Canadian delegation. This came in a meeting between bigwigs from the Canadian Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Relations Department of the AANES. On Friday, another woman of the repatriated Canadian citizens was released on bail in Edmonton, pending a terrorism peace bond application. A terrorism peace bond allows a court to order a person to enter into an agreement to keep the peace and be of good behavior or risk a prison sentence. |
