[YouTube] Video footage shows a drone hitting the roof of the Kremlin in Moscow. Russia claims an attack by Ukraine on the Kremlin with two drones.
[NYP] Russia accused Ukraine on Wednesday of launching a drone strike overnight in a failed attempt to kill President Vladimir Putin. The two drones were disabled by state security services and Putin, who was not in the Kremlin at the time of the incident, was uninjured, according to his spokesperson Dmitri S. Peskov. A senior Ukrainian presidential official said Kyiv was not involved in the purported incident and had "no information about the so-called night attacks on the Kremlin." Spokesperson Serhiy Nykyforov called the claim "an attempt to escalate the situation before May 9," referring to the World War II Victory Day holiday that Russia celebrates. | |

| #12 It’s a very small explosive going off several feet above the roof. That UAV would have to remotely guided (i.e. local) or if GPS guided, the exact GPS coordinates and height of the dome would have to be known. Narrows the suspect list quite a bit. BTW, original Russian news said 2-3 explosions were heard. |

| #7 Don't poke the bear. Just don't. Odd that it targeted the rooftop flagpole and not a window or something (as stated in the video). Looked to be aimed to cause as little damage as possible. Maybe they're poking themselves bad, in order to 'stimulate the masses'. In which case, your statement still rings true. |

The cost of entry is low and the necessary kit would fit in the trunk of a car, so this could be the work of anyone from local hooligans to nation state security services. If I were me doing the false flag, I would have Putin on the grounds so as to add drama, not off elsewhere. Given that this is a big propaganda coup for the Ukrainians, that is where I would put my chip. |

| #2 Either amateur Russian nationalists did this or Putin's FSB did. Hitting a flagpole is perfect for the false flag. Soon my hope is Ukraine will burn the Kremlin to the ground though and it is going to happen. Ukraine is moving closer to Moscow and their technical means are expanding at the same time. |
