The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, commented on the recent statement of the US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham , who called the death of the Russians "the most successful investment" of the US authorities. She expressed her opinion in the Telegram channel.
The diplomat recalled that American banks and companies were actively cooperating with Nazi Germany and were a key force for the prosperity of fascism. She stressed that the same “good investment” by Washington led to horrific consequences.
“Senator Graham has something to compare to. One of their investments led to World War II and the Holocaust," Zakharova wrote.
According to a ministry spokesman, the US is now doing much the same thing as it did back then, pouring money down the "throat of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime."
Earlier, Maria Zakharova called the White House's statement that the United States does not support strikes on Russian territory when delivering F-16 fighter jets to Kiev "an imitation of legal behavior."
She noted that there is no international law or domestic law in this.
