2023-06-18
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Sudan’s army called on citizens to leave their homes near the Rapid Support Forces (RSF)’s positions, amid reports on the possibility of a new truce, Sudanese media reported on Saturday.

According to media reports, in addition to sporadic shooting, reconnaissance warplanes were flying over Khartoum and anti-aircraft weapons were heard south of Omdurman, central and western Khartoum.

Local Sudanese reports said that 5 non-combatants were killed in Khartoum as a result of mutual artillery shelling in a number of areas.

In a statement, the RSF accused the Sudanese army of killing 2 of its employees in a brutal and inhumane manner. However,

the army has not commented yet.

In addition, telecommunications services were completely cut off in the city of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, and there is little information about the situation there after the killing of the state governor.

According to unofficial information, a new 72 hours truce between the army and the RSF is being put forward.

#1  For thirty years the Sudan military has taken the battle to the south, and then to the west and Durfar. The Nile Arabs have fought the African ethnicities tooth and nail. And now the battle is being fought in Khartoum! And somehow the world is being asked to sympathize with the Nile Arabs? Fuggum.
