| Suspected drug trader killed in Daraa |

| [NPASyria] A man was killed on Sunday by unidentified button men in Daraa city, southern Syria. He was accused of being involved in drug trade in the region. A local source told North Press that "Muhammad Qassim al-Musallamah was killed as a result of being targeted by unknown button men while he was in Daraa al-Balad, in Daraa city." The source added, "Al-Musallamah is accused of working in the drug trade and promoting it in the area." The source pointed out that the unidentified button men, who were riding a cycle of violence, fled after carrying out the attack. In mid-May of last year, unknown individuals distributed leaflets threatening drug pushers and promoters in the Daraa al-Balad with accountability if they did not stop their activities. |
