| [IsraelTimes] An Israeli man was stabbed and lightly wounded in the West Bank Palestinian town of Dayr Qadis earlier today, the military says. According to the Israel Defense Forces, several Israeli civilians who entered the town reported that a Palestinian man approached them and tried to stab them. One man was independently taken to a clinic in the nearby settlement of Modi’in Ilit, where he was treated for a minor injury to his hand, medical officials say. He did not require hospitalization. The IDF says soldiers are searching the area for the suspects. The background of the incident is not immediately known. Despite being discouraged by authorities, Israelis frequently enter Palestinian towns for inexpensive shopping, vehicle repairs, or even dental care.
