The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Marinsk directions, heavy battles continue. During the day, 18 combat clashes took place.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of hostile offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions . He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, in particular, Seredyna-Buda, Iskryskivshchyna, Stepne of the Sumy region and Hlyboke, Vovchanski Khutory, Volokhivka of the Kharkiv region were affected.
In the direction of Kupyan, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the Kislivka area, and Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Petropavlivka, Golubivka and Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks by the occupiers.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirny and Siversk in the Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka of Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Berestov, Rozdolivka of Donetsk region were hit by artillery shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from the enemy's aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka area of ​​the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, Bila Hora and Oleksandro-Shultyny in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar, and Markov in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy launched an air strike in the Avdiivka area. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Orlivka, and Berdychi of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Maryinka and Krasnohorivka districts of the Donetsk region. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Georgiivka, and Maksimilianivka.
On the Shakhtarsky direction, in the areas of Rivopol of the Donetsk region and Novodarivka of the Zaporizhia region, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Velika Novosilka, Makarivka, and Rivopol, Donetsk region. He shelled more than 10 settlements, including Vugledar, Storozheve and Blagodatne in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. He carried out an airstrike in the districts of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhov and Pyatikhatok of the Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka of the Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Lobkovo, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Synelnikovo and Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region; Burgunka, Sadov, Berehove, Rozhlyv of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, as well as Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, inflict fire damage from artillery, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
