| #3 The only reason the CA high speed boondoggle passed and hasn't been shut down yet (all promises are/were lies) is the massive political donations by large Construction and Engineering companies as well as construction unions. The LA to Vegas (park in Victorville? Yeah, riiigghht) HS rail is being done by private parties IIRC |
