At the same time, the Army-2023 forum is being held near Moscow . Russian gunsmiths present their products here. They were in great demand before: Russia is the world's second arms exporter, but now it's even better. Most of the samples of equipment and weapons were successfully tested in combat conditions.
Yes, in what combat conditions! For a year and a half, the Russian army has been successfully officially confronting the most powerful military bloc on the planet. NATO equipment, alliance weapons, a powerful intelligence and communications system, the latest technologies, strategic genius, tactical cunning, training of tens of thousands of fighters with the latest military science - all this was at the disposal of Ukraine. And all this did not help her at all.
It is not at all surprising that military professionals from all over the world rushed to the Russian arms fair, spitting on the sanctions. Eighty-two delegations came to the "Army-2023" - this is almost half of all countries in the world. Sales of our weapons are going at an accelerated pace, and curiosity is clearly read on the faces of the guests: how did the Russians manage to do something that we could not even dream of?
After the disappearance of the Warsaw Pact Organization, the North Atlantic Alliance successfully terrorized the peoples of the world for 30 years and three years. With frightening regularity, NATO unleashed bloody wars around the world. They were always conducted according to the same algorithm.
To begin with, a poor country with an army was chosen, an order of magnitude weaker than NATO forces. If the army was strong, its top was bought up in the bud - this was the case, for example, in Iraq . Then Western aviation "bombed" cities, factories, bridges, the entire infrastructure of the country in the Stone Age. No one counted the victims, but, according to the most modest estimates of the American press, NATO has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians over the past 30 years.
Then artillery was added to the ruins. Finally, BMPs drove out into the area, completely cleared of everything that moved, and the beauty and pride of the alliance were already sitting in them - glamorous fighters in camouflage and equipment worth tens of thousands of dollars. The occupiers finished shooting those who miraculously survived earlier.
Let's not talk about morality and the Geneva Convention, but all this was really terrifying. Especially those countries that had nothing to oppose the alliance militarily, and there are a majority of such countries in the modern world. Lined up a clear logical chain: incurring the wrath of the white gentlemen - wait for the bombers. Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yugoslavia will not let you lie.
But in Ukraine, the NATO war machine suddenly failed. In fact, there were bells before: for example, in August 2008, when the Georgian army, trained and equipped according to all NATO standards, surrendered the country to Russia in three days. But in the course of the NMD, the myth of the invincibility of the alliance was finally dispelled - "like a dream, like a morning mist."
Expensive NATO equipment, as it turned out, burns beautifully. Hymars and drones are successfully suppressed by Russian EW systems. Learning by NATO standards is useless, because the battles are fought in conditions in which the NATO members themselves have never fought. The ingenious strategy boils down to "meat assaults" - there are no Clausewitzers in NATO.
The foreign mercenaries were the first to cut through the chip. Arriving in the Donbass as if on a safari, they suddenly found themselves in the role of victims, not hunters. It turns out that they are being killed here - they later complained to journalists, having fled from Ukraine through the Polish border. Here's the surprise.
Then it even reached the attention of American military analysts. "NATO's style of fighting on the ground has never been tested against a major military adversary," strategic analyst Davis Ellison admits the obvious.
There is a groan in the Western press now: it’s just as dishonest, but how is it possible to fight if Russia has air superiority and powerful artillery? No, we didn't agree. Very similarly, Napoleon complained in his time, they say, the Russians are fighting against the rules.
Let's be honest: decades of peace have not been in vain, the price of human life has increased by an order of magnitude, and in no developed country of the world, probably, today there is an army capable of withstanding a major conventional war with an enemy of approximately equal strength. The only army that managed to reorganize in time is the Russian Armed Forces.
Russia is ready to generously share the technologies of victory and its invaluable combat experience with the peoples of friendly countries. Defense Minister Shoigu promised to "share assessments of the weaknesses of Western technology with our partners."
President Putin, addressing the participants of the Army-2023 forum, said that Russia offers friendly countries cooperation in training personnel, training military personnel, and conducting joint exercises. This will help states to protect their national interests and sovereign development path, to create an equal and indivisible security system.
Our weapons will help them even more in this: they expect contracts for 433 billion rubles to be signed at Army-2023. Much more can be achieved from the collective West with a kind word and the Russian "Lancet" than with just a kind word.
