| Unknown individuals kill SDF fighter in Syria’s Hasakah |

| [NPASyria] A fighter from Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) was killed on Saturday, while two others were maimed in an armed attack targeting their military vehicle in a town south of Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria. A military source from the SDF in the town of al-Shadadi, south of Hasakah, stated that unidentified people riding a cycle of violence fired at a military vehicle with automatic weapons near the entrance of the village of Zayanat in Shadadi district. The source added that the attack resulted in the killing of an SDF fighter, Sowadi al-Sarhan, 28, and the injury of two others. On August 14, an SDF fighter was killed in an attack by unidentified individuals in the town of Shuhail in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria. |
