| [HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] A politician loyal to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) called for closing all universities and institutes affiliated with the Islah Party in the city of Aden and others southern governorates, accusing them of spawning "terrorist" elements. Abdullah Mubarak al-Ghaithi, a politician and academic in the STC, who resides in Dubai, said in a post on X this Sunday, that the closure of universities and institutes affiliated with the Islah Party in Aden and the rest of southern governorates will stop the flow of al-Qaeda elements to those areas. The suffering of the people of Aden is worse than the people of Niger, he said. He accused the leaders loyal to the Saudi-led coalition from Islah and other parties of looting wealth revenues in southern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... in the name of unity. |
