2023-09-13
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish air forces on Tuesday bombarded a mountain in Duhok province. Locals said the bombardment could be clearly seen from nearby villages.

Locals from the area told Rudaw’s Ayub Nasri that Ottoman Turkish forces bombed the mountain for nearly half an hour. Fayaq Balavayi, a villager, said "There are no civilians in the targeted area but the bombardment could be heard and seen in nearby villages."

Majd Barchi, another local, said this is the third successive night that Ankara bombed the mountain, adding that there are no civilians on the mountain because it is a prohibited area.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
has recently upped its attacks against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Kurdistan Region. It has also intensified its targeting of Kurdish fighters in northern Syria due to their alleged ties with the PKK.

Ottoman Turkish warplanes and drones bombarded the vicinity of Galala village ten times on September 1, the mayor of Mawat district, which includes the village in northern Sulaimani province, told Rudaw. The attack damaged farms and orchards and sparked a fire.

Kurdish civilians and rights organizations have criticized Turkey’s military campaign as civilian lives and property are frequently caught in the crossfire.
Shafaq News adds:
Ottoman Turkish fighters unleashed a barrage of strikes upon multiple regions within the jurisdiction of Amedi, located to the north of Dohuk.

A government official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, revealed that the Ottoman Turkish helicopters subjected the village of Kowani and areas within the Nahla region to relentless bombardment.
