#3 I just read that the pilot punched out at 1,000 feet and the aircraft was directly over suburban North Charleston. Yet on auto pilot it flew another 60+ miles before crashing. Obviously not a 'Great Santini" moment for the pilot, and something doesn't sound right? |

Posted by: Ululating Platypus 2023-09-20 04:40 ...Non-zero, but not likely if for no other reason than the bird was lost within a relatively short distance of six major military bases and not entirely unpopulated areas (I live just about 75 miles from the crash site). What I think we're going to find is a combination of weather and systems failure. Mike |
