Ukrainian defenders walk from forest plantation to forest plantation, sometimes 50-100 meters per day, sometimes 300-400 meters.
The Ukrainian military continues to advance in the Robotino area in the Zaporozhye region; Russian troops have increased losses of military equipment in recent days. Alexander Shtupun, a representative of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, announced this on Saturday, September 23, during a telethon.
“We are continuing the offensive operation in the Robotinoye area. Let’s just say that we are not moving quickly there, but there is a certain movement forward. It is quite difficult, because the enemy has a strong defense. Therefore, we go from forest plantation to forest plantation, sometimes 50-100 meters in a day, sometimes – 300-400 meters,” he said.
At the same time, Shtupun noted, the enemy does not surrender, although he is suffering heavy losses, especially in equipment.
“Over the last week, if you count from last Monday, there were losses in equipment - 20-30 units. And until the end of this week, for the last two days, we have recorded more than 50 units of equipment lost by the enemy,” said Shtupun.
Let us remind you that, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost 275,460 military personnel killed during the war in Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 510 invaders.
