#8  Three years ago when a raised alarm could have prevented this, I believe Fox inc. was calling such people the worst of people, even advocating on account of Covid.

Squatter Dens. Polite speak for entire floors turned into various Sin Dens with bouncers and security. Until there is finally a fire and the entire building turns to a cinder because all fire precautions had been compromised.

#7  There is a lot of empty space at Ft. Irwin, MCB Barstow and Edwards AFB. FEMA tent cities and voila, problem becomes invisible. When the drugs and booze stop flowing, you segregate the unfortunate that are down on their luck from the mentally deranged and lost souls to deep drug addiction. Spend money to help the redeemable, and warehouse the rest humanely.

#5  This is pure communism, expropriating private property for the "common good". The bums will destroy those hotels. Anybody charged with cleaning and maintaining those properties should wear a hazmat suit.

Newsom will not compensate the owners. Beware if this man ever gets into the White House. He will do to the rest of the country what he's doing to California.

The bums need to be incarcerated, preferably in tent cities or barracks way out in the boondocks on government owned property where normal people won't have to deal with them.

#2  You get more of what you tolerate.

#1  They'd be better off using the empty office space in LA instead. Since office space is now next to worthless and the squatters are gonna trash them in short order, you can then tear those buildings down and start over.
