Commenting on the situation in the Canadian parliament, when Yaroslav Hunka, a 98-year-old Nazi from the SS Galicia division, was welcomed there, Putin noted that this is a manifestation of Nazism and a willingness to cooperate with anyone to harm Russia.
Putin also drew attention to the fact that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was also present at that ceremony in Canada .
“I’m not even talking about what happens in real life when people are caught and killed on the streets. This was shown to the whole world. Not only are they assholes, but they are also neo-Nazis. This is an obvious fact, what can you say against it?” - noted the head of state.
As Regnum reported, Hunku was invited to a meeting of the Canadian Parliament on September 23. Everyone present, including Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, stood and applauded him.
Putin noted that only an idiot or a scoundrel could call a Nazi and greet him. He also recalled that the SS division “Galicia” was recognized by the judges of the Nuremberg trials as criminal and guilty of genocide.
On December 7, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office addressed the Canadian authorities with a request to extradite Hunka, who is accused of genocide of civilians during the Great Patriotic War. Investigators believe that he was involved in the murder of at least 500 Soviet citizens.
