Khan Younis hospital operating without 80% of staff
2023-12-29
[GEO.TV] A hospital in Khan Younis, the largest hospital in south of Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
and the second largest in the whole of the enclave, is operating without 80% of its staff, Al Jazeera reported citing one of the doctors working there.

Doctor Mohammed Qandil has described scenes of desperation in Nasser hospital, which is grappling with severe shortages of supplies — including anaesthetics and pain medicines.

The facility is also undergoing a severe shortage of health workers unable to provide their services due to the fighting.

"We lost around 80% of the medical staff, doctors and nurses who cannot reach the hospitals. One thing is that the hospital is unsafe: The al-Shifa Hospital scenario and other hospital scenarios were scary and they feel unsafe," he said, referring to the Israeli siege of al-Shifa in Gaza City.

"The other reason is the displacement wave, the displacement orders. Our physicians are in a very terrible situation, they have to secure their family. The big dream now for many physicians is to have a tent to put his kids inside rather than to leave them under the sky," he said.

"If this hospital is closed, and service is off that means that the health system in the south will be, I mean, zero almost," Qandil said.
