No More J6s - 'Don't allow yourself to be used by Trump's enemies'
2024-01-08
[American Thinker] Three years ago, several hundred MAGA conservatives followed a man wearing a buffalo skull on his head into the Capitol.

Oh, I know there’s more to it — and we’ll get to that — but that will do for shorthand. Jacob Chansley, AKA QAnon Shaman. Yellowstone Wolf, etc., a professional activist of somewhat eclectic convictions and eccentric sartorial tastes, led the MAGA election fraud protestors up the steps and into the Capitol on Jan. 6, and they went straight in, without any hesitation or sign of second thoughts. Yes, there were others, but the Shaman pretty much became the avatar of the whole affair. The majority of those people, who did no harm and committed no felonies, have, in one of the most vindictive actions is recent political history, spent the last few years in prison under rough conditions, some of them in solitary, some denied counsel, most either overcharged or mischarged, and many of them still awaiting trial. That is wrong, and I am not suggesting that it isn’t wrong, or that it should not be corrected. But at the same time, it’s awfully difficult to generate any passion over people who act this stupid.

Conservatives like to accuse others of being sheep. But many of them say it while baaing.

The Jan. 6 "insurrection" was clearly a setup -- Nancy Pelosi refusing to bring in the National Guard, the doors opened by welcoming Capitol staffers and Capitol Police, unidentified masked figures racing around shouting "Let’s take the place!" This kind of thing doesn’t happen by itself. It is made to happen. The D.C. elites were desperate for their own personal Reichstag fire. When none was forthcoming, they lit it themselves.

It's not likely that Chansley was actually in on any of this. But he is part of the problem, along with QAnon, the Oath Keepers, and the attempt by the Wicked Papist Guy Fawkes and company to Seize upon and commit a Mischief upon the Person of the Ladye Governour of the state of Michigan — just in time to pull Whitmer’s fading poll numbers out of their nosedive.

#12  J6 is a black mark on American history, every bit as bad as the Reichstag Fire. Both sides were stupid but Pelosi and the Democrats are evil.

#11  Divide it out, the J6 event was a black flag operation. Not the protest, but the response to make it look like a riot. The people were polite, a carnival atmosphere with the Shaman dancing in front. The event went south when they kicked an old woman down the stairs and shot at folks that went to her aid. Watch the video of the opening shots. The USG forced the event to become violent.

Which leads to my second point about not having another J6 event. We wont. The people will be more prepared for when the USG fires on them without cause. The people will fire back and it will not be a one sided shoot fest like J6. It will be a fire fight with body count. You cant say, like this guy who thinks he's a great American thinker, to not be a sheep, and then say to not voice your Constitutional right to protest. Remember, even he states it was an intentional event by the USG, once fired on it was, by all military tactics and conventions, an ambush, and you only walk into an ambush once...

#10  J6 was indeed a set up. The capitol cops said so themselves and they were resentful. Pelosi knew there would be 200,000 people in DC that day and she didn't beef up security? C'mon.

And then there's Ray Epps. How many others just like him were there? All those guys running around with hoodies and masks?

It was stupid of the protesters to rush headlong into the trap.

What if they had done nothing?

Then Democrats would not be able to accuse Trump of insurrection. Technically, legally, they never could. But J6 and the mainstream media give them just enough cover to do it anyway.

It was stupid of those protester to push past the cops, knock down fences and barriers, break windows and doors. Smart people would not do that. But as stupid as they were they didn't deserve to be locked up for years in solitary without trial. That, in itself, is a far worse crime than any of the J6 protesters committed.

J6 is a black mark on American history, every bit as bad as the Reichstag Fire. Both sides were stupid but Pelosi and the Democrats are evil.

#9  The J6 Persecution and MSM-hyped DoJ/FBI Inquisition have had a massively daunting effect on public protests in Washington. By design! Super Hose (^ref #8 above) is right about the need to escalate increasing peaceful public demonstrations of anger and dissatisfaction with the insanity of what government is doing. The trick is to avoid the set-piece replay of J6 that they are trying to incite as "proof" of their vile defamation's of the the character of the traditional American public. The target needs to be DC but NOT at the Capitol or White House.

I-405 and three bridges can bring the Swamp to it's knees. Replay Ottawa writ large and watch the impact!

#8  Protests continue to be necessary and effective. The post J6 trucker rallies that started in Canada, moved to America, and continue to change the political landscape in Europe are an example of sucess. There were also significant spontaneous protests at Mar-A-Lago after the raid that served to galvanize MAGA thinking. As a larger example, the March For Life activities in both DC and SF served as a rallying point for good for a 40 year period without mishap.
We got suckered on J6 and the result is martyrs and prisoner/hostages. Protests should continue. Trump rallies are protests in a way. We just can’t get suckered again.

#6  /\ Who generally deals in guns and drugs? Who called the day-to-day shots for over 20 years? It wasn't DoD, I can assure you. Is a Klingon graphic actually necessary ?

Yes, a fully funded (via mil hardware) and TB approved 'stay behind' element.

BTW, who's running Afghanistan now? And that would be your military that relies upon the local communities for housing a large portion of their troops let alone civilian contractors.

Wish I'd said that.

It wasn't that long ago, on this site, the majority (seemingly) felt that J6 was a foolish endeavor. To protest a bogus election was a bad idea. To them I say, What if they had done nothing?
