[Regnum] In Peru, scientists recently discovered the origins of mysterious “alien mummies” that are said to be about a thousand years old, according to a RIA Novosti report.
In September 2023, Mexican journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan presented the mummies of two “humanoids” in the country’s parliament. He claimed that the remains were about a thousand years old and were of non-human origin. At the same time, the DNA of bodies only 60 centimeters high, as Maussan stated, is only 30% different from the human genetic material.
The agency's material notes that the sensation shocked Mexican parliamentarians and they postponed discussions for two months. After this, in November, the ufologist invited anthropologist Roger Zuniga from the National University of Aloysius Gonzaga in Ica to a meeting of the Mexican Congress. He also confirmed Maussan’s words and stated that he had already studied five similar alien mummies. The rapper even spoke at the meeting, Claudio Jarto, who stated that he allegedly personally saw a UFO.
As a result, specialists from the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and Criminology in Peru decided to understand the hoax. In January they presented a report in which they completely debunked the Maussan sensation. Scientists have found that mummies actually contain parts of non-human origin, but not aliens, but animals.
Scientists conducted an X-ray study. It showed that, for example, the head of one of the mummies is the skull of a mammal. Institute employee Flavio Estrada explained that the skull belongs to a llama or alpaca, the bones belong to birds, and ordinary stones were found in mummies.
As for the ufologist Maussan, he may now face trial, since the “alien mummies” may be skeletal remains of the pre-Hispanic period and a museum exhibit. As a result, a criminal case was opened in Peru regarding their illegal export.
It is worth noting that such mysterious finds are not uncommon. Thus, in a Buddhist temple in Japan there is a mummy with a fish tail. In 2022, specialists were allowed to study it; it turned out that it actually contained the bones of the dorsal fin of a large fish, as well as paper, fabric, cotton wool and plaster. Despite this, the mummy was left in the temple, since local residents were already accustomed to coming to it and praying.
As Regnum reported, in 2020, American scientists discovered an unusual artifact in the body of a two-thousand-year-old Egyptian mummy. Scientists examined the mummy of a five-year-old child using computed tomography and found in it an object made of calcite with steel wire.
In August 2023, residents of a small village in Peru asked the authorities for protection from an attack by alien big-headed creatures. Residents spoke of attacks by creatures about two meters tall, with large heads and yellow eyes. However, firearms do not harm them. Moreover, a resident contacted the police and said that one of the aliens had attacked the girl and scratched her neck.
At the same time, Stanford University professor Harry Nolan, at a conference entitled “The Pentagon, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and Crashed UFOs” in New York in May 2023, stated that aliens have already visited Earth, and some remain among people.
