[Korrespondent] During the day, Russian troops tried 25 times to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Novopavlovsk direction.
Russian invaders continue to attack Ukrainian troops. The enemy is advancing along almost the entire front line, but the invaders did not carry out assault operations in the Kupyansky, Orekhovsky and Kherson directions. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Friday, March 1.
During the day, Russian troops launched six missile and 79 air strikes, and carried out 62 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Liman direction, soldiers repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Razdolovka in the Donetsk region and Belogorovka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Bogdanovka and Andreevka settlements in the Donetsk region, where the occupiers tried to improve their tactical position.
In the Avdeevsky direction, defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka and south of Zolotaya Niva in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses 25 times.
In the Orekhovsky and Kherson directions, the Russians did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out strikes on 13 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Units of the missile forces inflicted defeat on the area where military equipment was concentrated, two artillery weapons, three control points, and three enemy ammunition depots.
Let us remind you that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 920 Russian invaders. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total losses of the Russian army amounted to about 414,680 soldiers.
