[NYPost] The Rubymar cargo ship struck by a Houthi missile attack in February has sank in the Red Sea.

A ship attacked by Yemen’s Houthi rebels has sunk in the Red Sea after days of taking on water, officials said Saturday, the first vessel to be fully destroyed as part of their campaign over Israel’s war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The Rubymar had been drifting northward after being attacked on Feb. 18 in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a crucial waterway linking the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Yemen’s internationally recognized government, as well as a regional military official, confirmed the ship sank. The official spoke on condition of anonymity as the information had not been cleared for publication.

The Rubymar’s Beirut-based manager could not be immediately reached for comment.

Yemen’s exiled government, which has been backed by a Saudi-led coalition since 2015, said the Rubymar sank late Friday as stormy weather took hold over the Red Sea.

The vessel had been abandoned for 12 days after the attack, though plans had been floated to try and tow the ship to a safe port.

The Iran-backed Houthis, who had claimed the ship sank almost instantly after the attack, did not immediately acknowledge the ship’s sinking.

#5  Shia Iran is blamed for the Sunni (Muslim Brotherhood) Hamas attacks on 10/7 because Iran:

  • supplied much of the smuggled in rockets and missiles

  • funded Hamas

  • trained Hamas cadres for at least the past two years in the techniques used on 10/7

Both Hamas and the Mad Mullahs of Iran are happy to be using one another for their own goals, though for the second time Iran intended Hamas to be one pincer against Israel, the other being Hezbollah with their own tunnels and their stash of 150,000 missiles and rockets stored in mosques, schools, and cellars all across southern Lebanon. The 0plan — again — was for Hams and Hezbollah to rampage across Israel while Iran dealt the killing blow.

Both times Hamas could not wait for the signal, but jumped the gun. And so this is the second time Iran and Hezbollah are allowing Hamas to be flattened in the hope that this time they will learn patience.

We’ll see if Hezbollah gets flattened this time, too, as Bibi has concluded with regard to Hamas that there is no benefit to merely administering a salutary beating instead of fixing the problem for good, and appears to be heading toward the same conclusion about Hezbollah.

Saudi Arabia has been working behind the scenes with Israel for well over a decade — trade as well as military-to-military meetings, I understand, even without any pretense on Israel’s part toward progress with the Palestinians. Whether Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has truly taken to heart these lessons remains to be seen, but for the moment the Saudis need Israel to protect them from Iran, since they’re probably pretty sure President Biden’s America won’t step up when the time comes.

#4  This is why shia Iran is blamed for the Sunni Islamist Hamas attacks on October 7
When the Hamas leadership is all in Sunni Muslim Brotherhood Qatar and Sunni Turkey

You have to attack Iran with your military

Why? Because they are Saudi Arabia’s sectarian Islamic enemy

Your military priority is being directed by the Saudis

    And why?

Because Saudi has the whip hand over the US economy via the petrodollar.

    US has massive debt

If the Saudis settled in ruble or yuan, the US becomes Somalia overnight. Imagine a $1000 can of beans. Overnight.

So the US is walking the wire in supporting Israel’s right to exist, because Saudi Islamists also hate Jews, it is written into the koran to do so and so they must.

So the Saudis are using the US military to fight the shia
And when they are done they will turn on you
