[Korrespondent] Ukrainian defenders courageously hold back the enemy's onslaught.
In particular, in the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repulsed 18 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdichi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye and Vodyanoye in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion as of Thursday evening, March 14.
During the day, 68 military clashes were recorded.
“In general, the enemy carried out 14 missile and 103 air strikes, carried out 45 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were wounded among the civilian population. High-rise buildings and private houses, as well as other infrastructure facilities,” says the General Staff report.
In the Kupyansk direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Liman direction, our soldiers repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Yampolevka, Razdolovka in the Donetsk region and Belogorovka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky and Klishchievka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve its tactical position.
In the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repulsed 18 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdich, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye and Vodyanoye in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 18 times to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders 6 times in the areas of Staromayorsky, Donetsk region, Robotinoy and west of Verbovoy, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, within 24 hours the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the positions of our troops.
During the day, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on 4 areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief Syrsky announced the threat of the advance of the Russian army.
