During the course of 24 hours, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this in an evening report on Wednesday, April 24.
Also, Ukrainian air defense forces and means destroyed one X-59 guided aircraft missile and three enemy reconnaissance UAVs.
During the day, 84 military clashes were recorded at the front. In total, Russian troops carried out 13 missile and 51 air strikes, and carried out 16 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
In the Kupyansky direction, soldiers repelled one attack in the area of ​​​​the village of Berestovo, Kharkov region. In the Limansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks in the areas of Serebryansky forestry, Nevsky, Lugansk region; Ternov and Torskogo, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, 13 attacks were repulsed in the areas of Belogorovka settlements in the Lugansk region; Excavation, Ivanovskoe, Kleschievka, Donetsk region.
In the Avdeevsky direction, defenders repelled 15 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ocheretino, Novokalinovo, Berdich and Netaylovo in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to oust units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their occupied lines.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the Russians in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka, Urozhaynoye in the Donetsk region, where the invaders tried to break through the defense 16 times.
In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, once attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Staromayorsky area of ​​the Donetsk region. He also carried out an air strike in the Robotino area of ​​the Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the occupiers do not abandon their intention to oust units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, within 24 hours, one unsuccessful attack was carried out on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of ​​​​the village of Krynki, Kherson region.
