| #5 Russia will make NATO nuclear weapons in Poland one of its primary targets if they are deployed there, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov declared today /engage Pet Peeve mode I realize this is the Daily Mail, but the dude said nukes in Poland would be added to the target list. Well, duh! This is NOT the same as threatening to strike Poland. So, the Cuban Missile Crisis flipped. No, pretty much the same thing, different decade. The trigger for the Cuban Missile Crisis was NATO installing Jupiter missiles in Turkey. For some reason, the Russians objected to having nuclear-armed medium range ballistic missiles nearby. The missiles in Cuba were a bargaining chip the Russians were willing to trade to get the Jupiters removed. The Soviets may have been godless commies, but they could play chess. |

| #3 One of the biggest reasons for this war in Ukraine is Putin's fear that NATO will deploy nukes in Ukraine...cruise missiles that could hit Moscow before the Russians even knew they were coming. Maybe Biden and his handlers think they could win a nuclear war and that's why they're playing this game. |
