Scalia to students on high taxes: At a certain point, 'perhaps you should revolt'

[WASHINGTONTIMES] The longest-serving justice currently on the bench answered the student by saying that the government has the constitutional right to implement the tax, "but if it reaches a certain point, perhaps you should revolt."

Justice Scalia continued to tell the students that they have every right to express criticism of the government.

"You're entitled to criticize the government, and you can use words, you can use symbols, you can use telegraph, you can use Morse code, you can burn a flag," he said, according to the News Sentinel.

#4 Every time I see that map I am astounded by the permanency of the remnants of the Southern cotton culture. The termination of the blue streak north of NOLA must be due to 20th century oil and gas.

See that little blue spot in North Florida? Those 2 counties were the largest cotton growing areas in Florida prior to 1910.

#2 Reid says the American people (ranchers, Tea Party) are domestic terrorists. Scalia says perhaps we should revolt over taxes (the life blood of the government). Reid's a blithering idiot and makes little sense with his babblings. Scalia, on the other hand...

#1 When the government takes more than 50% of what you create by labor or skill, you exist to serve the state. You have become an indentured servant of the state (all of course in the name of the poor, underprivileged, etc as directed by the upper 10 percent).
