| Army Detains Lebanese, Palestinian in Raids in Dahiyeh |

| [An Nahar] The army detained a Lebanese and a Paleostinian on Friday in a large-scale raid in Beirut's southern suburbs, the military command said in a communique. "An army unit raided at dawn the homes of wanted suspects on the airport road and nearby areas," the army said in its statement. It identified the Lebanese suspect as Hisham Monzer and the Paleostinian detainee as Hassan Azmour. They are both charged with opening fire in the area and carrying out disturbing acts. The army unit seized arms, ammunition, binoculars and military equipment. The detainees were referred to the competent judicial authority. |
