2 car bombings in Baghdad kill 3, injure 15 people

[IraqiNews.com] Security source reported on Monday that a pair of boom-mobileings in a Baghdad suburb has went kaboom!, killing and injuring 18 citizens.

"The two boom-mobiles went off simultaneously in Husseiniyah district in northeastern Baghdad, killing three citizens and injuring 15 others", the security source told IraqiNews.com.

5 killed, 15 injured in Husseiniya bombings north of Baghdad

[IraqiNews.com] A source within the Iraqi police announced on Monday, that Husseiniya bombings in the north of Baghdad have left four dead and 15 injured.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The outcome of the two suicide kabooms, that targeted Hosseiniya in the north of Baghdad, was four deaths and 15 injuries."

The source, who requested anonymity, added, "The security forces and ambulance crews continue to work to save the victims. The bodies of the dead were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to the hospital for treatment."

These developments come in the wake of a terrorist attack carried out by boom-mobiles which targeted Husseiniya area north of Baghdad.

Rare monuments found in Karrada, Baghdad

[IraqiNews.com] A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Monday, that a force of the ministry intelligence has found a large quantity of rare monuments in Karrada district in central Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "Today, a force within the intelligence of the Interior Ministry found a large quantities of rare monuments in Rusafa area, while inspecting Karrada district in central Baghdad."

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, "The force handed the monuments to the National Museum," without giving further details.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Interior announced on March 26th, the seizure of 207 different artifacts being smuggled northern of Nasiriyah in Dhi Qar province.

Babel governor announces weapons store found

[IraqiNews.com] The governor of Babel, Sadiq Al-Sultani announced today Monday that the Security Forces found a store containing weapons, munitions and kabooms in Buhyrat district.

"A Force of the National Security Department found a weapons cache involves weapons, munitions and kabooms which were slowly transferried to the military locations, in Buhyrat region within ISkindariah sub-district of northern Babel", Sultani told IraqiNews.com.

"The force is surveying the region in coordination with the Security Forces there", he added.
