| Marine Court-Martialed for Refusing to Remove Bible Verse |

| A United States Marine was convicted at a court-martial for refusing to remove a Bible verse on her computer -- a verse of Scripture the military determined "could easily be seen as contrary to good order and discipline." The plight of Lance Corporal Monifa Sterling seems unbelievable -- a member of the Armed Forces criminally prosecuted for displaying a slightly altered passage of Scripture from the Old Testament: "No weapon formed against me shall prosper." Sterling, who represented herself at trial, was convicted February 1, 2014 in a court-martial at Camp Lejune, North Carolina after she refused to obey orders from a staff sergeant to remove the Bible verses from her desk. She was found guilty of failing to go to her appointed place of duty, disrespect toward a superior commissioned officer, and four specifications of disobeying the lawful order of a noncommissioned officer. |

| #5 The reason Christians enlist in the United States military is to fight and die to protect the Constitution of the United State of America that protects their basic fundamental rights of Freedom of Religion and Free Speech. After 50,000 young men and women died in S. Vietnam the godless scum of America handed S. Vietnam back to communism. After sending thousands of our young men and women to an early end to their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq recently the godless scum bags of America handed those areas back to Islamic barbarians. When the godless scumbag officers in the United States Military who are now no different from the Nazi officer corp or the Imperial Japanese Rikugun Shōi cease and desist from attacking our young men and women who excise their constitution right to Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech in regards to Freedom of Religion, anyone abused by those officers needs to stand up to those officers. The United States of America has only succeeded in WWII and liberating S. Korea. Every war since then where godless ignorant Americans have sent their sons and daughters off to die and told them to STFUP on the way to the grave yard and then order a retreat via electoral fiat need to STFUP. |

| #2 Probably not the most liked at the command, in my experience those are the ones most penalized. Agreed, that putting it on a command computer and refusing to remove it is a sure sign that former Lance Corporal Sterling is not the brightest bulb, plus it indicates a certain smugness that shows she's in the "right". |
