Baaj said the ISIS fighters were of Saudi citizenship and had arrived "recently" to join the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. He added that the Free Officer's Movement has been continuously targeting ISIS Lions of Islam inside Mosul in retaliation for the killing of civilians. Since April, the group has claimed the killing of several ISIS leaders. In November, the Free Officers Movement took responsibility for the liquidation of Abu Shahab al Suri, the ISIS leader in-charge of the western part of Mosul city. |
