MoI further added that the explosives were of Ammonium Nitrate type which are mainly used to manufacture Improvised Explosive Device (IED). According to MoI, the transportation of the explosives in a bus carrying Pakistani registration plate shows that the terrorist groups on the other side of the Durand Line are attempting to stage attacks in Afghanistan. The ant-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far. This comes as the Afghan officials have long been criticizing Pakistan for remaining reckless to act against the terrorist groups using its soil to plan and coordinate attacks in Afghanistan. The Afghan officials are saying that the leadership councils of the Taliban group and the notorious Haqqani terrorist network are based in Quetta and Peshawar cities of Pakistan. |
