Senate Democrat Compares Supreme Court Justices to 'Horsemen of the Apocalypse'
2017-06-28
[PJ] On Monday, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) compared Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas to "the three horsemen of the apocalypse" for their decision to partially grant the Trump administration's request to lift a stay and implement his travel ban, which Hirono called a "Muslim ban."

"Neil Gorsuch, who I did not support as a Supreme Court justice, he's joined two of the most conservative justices, Clarence Thomas, and Alito on the Court to take the position that the entire injunction should have been lifted," Hinoro said on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports."

"This is like the three horsemen of the apocalypse, and they're waiting for the fourth one to come along so that they can go on their trend toward what I call extremism," Hirono added. "I'm not surprised at all that Neil Gorsuch is right in there with Thomas and Alito, wanting to pretty much tell the president, 'You just go right ahead, impose a Muslim ban.'"

#14  It's okay. Given the fact the Demonrats are Nazi's and wannabe Slavemasters rolled into one, their pants wetting fear of constitutionalists is quite understandable.

#13  Senator, being a legislator and having to involve in politics is so-o-o-o tiresome that most of your fellow congresscritters delegated the job to the unelected bureaucrats. Having your faction in control of the judicial system was supposed to supply the oversight you are too lazy/corrupt to provide.
TL/DR: Suck it up, you jackass, and do the job you were elected to.

#12  You know Senator if you pols did your job in the House of the People instead of shifting over the power and authority its suppose to exercise to the unelected and unaccountable judiciary, you wouldn't have this view. Maybe time for a Constitutional amendment for Term Limits?

#11  There are more Philippino's, and there are more Chinese, and there are more Japanese, let alone the whites.

#10  Abu, pretty sure the whites came to outnumber the Polynesians in Hawaii a long time ago, and suspect the East Asians now outnumber the whites.

#9  On a tiny island like Oahu it wouldn't take long for Moslem colonists to outnumber the natives.

#7  On Monday, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) compared Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas to "the three horsemen of the apocalypse" Soon to be Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Senator, I like to think of them that way too--just think of them as the bullshit knife--a return to justice.

#6  When everything is a crisis and will bring about the end of the world... you lose the shock factor.

The demoncrats lost the shock factor sometime around 1983 and it has only gotten sillier.

#5  "Muslim ban."

Except it doesn't effect all Muslim countries and travelers. Truth has never been in the foundation of the Left. And not to be confused with the prior administrations 'de facto' ban on Syrian Christians.

#4  Wasn't it a unanimous decision?

Yeah, but saying "nine horsemen of the Apocalypse" sounds even stupider than saying three.

#1  Dear Senator Hirono -

I should like to cordially invite you to procure a sense of proportion, then shut up.
