Benghazi militia leader Bouka killed in Benghazi as fierce fighting continues
[Libya Herald] Benghazi's Death Eater leader Mohammed Al-Araibi, more commonly known as Bouka, has been killed in fighting today in the city's Gwarsha district. The death was announced by Al-Nabaa TV, seen as sympathetic to the Benghazi Revolutionaries' Shoura Council, of which Bouka's Brega Martyr's Brigade was a part. Nuri Abu Sahmain, the president of the continuing General National Congress is reported to have expressed his condolences at the fighter's demise.

A former mechanic, Bouka was a controversial character and as a result of his bizarre rants on television was considered by some to be mentally unstable.
Crackers was he? Interesting, but not very. They're all bloody nut cases.
Last September, there were reports that he had been badly maimed in an Operation Dignity Arclight airstrike against his home district of Sidi Khalifa. At the time, a source close to his family told the Libya Herald that he had been hit by shrapnel in the leg during a bombing raid. The next month the home was attacked and burned by Operation Dignity forces following which Bouka released a video in which he swore Dire Revenge saying that he would destroy Genral Khalifa Hafter and his forces.

He was then erroneously reported to have been captured during fighting at Benghazi University's campus at Garyounis.

Noted for his disheveled looks, Bouka hit the headlines a year ago when he led an attack on the General National Congress because it had not elected his preferred candidate as prime minister -- Omar Al-Hassi, now the continuing GNC's head of government. At the time, it instead elected Ahmed Maetig although that election was then ruled illegal by the Supreme Court on the grounds that Congress had not followed due process.

Bouka later claimed that he had not intended to attack Congress but that there had been an armed altercation with Congress guards who did not want to let him into the building.

In addition to today's fighting in Gwarsha there has again been heavy festivities in a number of districts in Benghazi, including Kish, Fuwayhat, Hawari, Leithi and the downtown area. The sound of mortar fire could be heard in much of the city. LNA aircraft were also used.

There have been a number of casualties both military and civilian in the fighting over the past few days, particularly as a result of random artillery fire largely blamed on Ansar Al Sharia and on the IS forces in Leithi.

Early yesterday morning, a 21-year-old civilian named as Ziyad Faraj Al-Badri was killed when a missile hit his home. On Friday 15-year old boy, Ali Naji Al-Obeidi, died when a missile smashed into his family's appartment in Fuwayhat. Another missile hit a parked car, but no one was reported hurt.

There have been a number of military casualties as well. On Friday, a LNA soldier named as Hassan Zaroug Mijrisi was killed in Sabri. Five others were maimed. The following day, another soldier, Saad Mohmaed Al-Maghrabi, 34, was also killed in Sabri. Sixteen other soldiers were maimed in fighting in the same area as well as ion Leithi, Hawari and the centre of Bengahzi.

There were reports that Dignity front man Colonel Mohammed Hejazi was targeted by a sniper on Sunday in Leithi district but excaped unharmed.

Meanwhile,
...back at the palazzo, Count Guido had escaped from his bonds and overwhelmed his guard using the bludgeon the faithful Filomena had smuggled to him in the loaf of bread...
new armoured military vehicles are reported to have been supplied to the LNA in Benghazi.

, this morning. Another report says that the location was also an Dawn training camp and that there were a number of deaths. There has been no confirmation about casualties

Eye witnesses in Tarhouna told the Libya Herald that they had seen flames rising from the camp.

Local residents said that Libya Dawn leaders had arrived in Tarhouna yesterday trying to encourage young men in the town to join the battle west of Tripoli in Dire Revenge the death of leading Dawn commander Salah Bourki, who was originally from Tarhouna and who was killed two days ago by LNA forces.

Meanwhile,

the media office of Libya Dawn announced that Zintan airport was targeted in an Arclight airstrike this morning in reprisal for the attack against the Tarhouna camp. They claim that the aircraft used in the attack had flown from Zintan airport.

There has been a number of claims about air raids by both sides that have turned out to be inaccurate, and in some cases apparently deliberately misleading.

The last definite air attacks in the west of the country by the LNA were on Saturday. Yesterday, LNA sources claimed to have hit a number of targets in the capital, including two near Tripoli International Airport. But no such strikes appeared to have occurred.

Mesmari added that Libya Dawn Death Eaters, who are in control of Tripoli, attacked the house of a military officer and murdered "his wife, his daughter, his son, his brother and other people who were there" in retaliation for the army Arclight airstrikes.

This is while a front man for the Death Eater group rejected Mesmari's claim about the cold-blooded murder. The front man also said there is no weapons depot in Tarhuna, adding that the army offensive hit a refugee camp and killed eight civilians.

"Eight Libyan civilians died in the strike. Sadly this is their strategy, to kill civilians and claim to the international community that they are after weapons," he went on to say.

On Friday, Libya's internationally recognized government announced that the army has started an operation to recapture the capital city of Tripoli from armed Death Eaters.

Despite the ongoing festivities in the strife-torn country, Libya's warring factions continue to take part in UN-brokered talks in the Moroccan coastal town of Skhirat.

jihadist group grabbed credit Monday for an attack on police in south Yemen that left 29 dead, in a sign of its growing activity in the turbulent country.

IS issued the claim in an online statement attributed to its branch in restive Lahj

The attacks in the capital and in Lahj the same day were the first claimed by IS in Yemen, where its rival al-Qaeda group remains the most prominent krazed killer organization.

The group's "lions" in Lahj "liquidated 29 apostates" among members of the security forces, it said in a brief statement posted on Twitter.

A local security official said 29 people, including 27 members of the security forces, were killed in festivities in Lahj, north of the port city of Aden, after gunnies attacked police.

IS, which has a strong presence in Syria and Iraq, posted gory pictures on Islamist websites of what it said were coppers killed in the attack.

Ansarullah, militants clash anew in Yemen's Ta'izz city
[Iran Press TV] Fresh festivities have broken out between Yemeni Ansarullah fighters and forces loyal to runaway President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in the southwestern city of Ta'izz.

The violence erupted in two areas south of the Ta'izz city on Monday. It was not immediately clear how many Ansarullah fighters or gunnies were killed or maimed in the festivities.

Ansarullah fighters on Sunday took control of Ta'izz, a strategic city between the capital, Sana'a, and Aden. The city is seen as a key entry point to Hadi's refuge in Aden.

Houthi movement's Ansarullah fighters also sent reinforcement to an area in the neighboring Ibb Province, 30 kilometers northeast of Ta'izz.

They have reportedly taken over several schools in the area and converted them into military barracks.

Security sources said the militiamen, known as Huthis, had sent several thousand troops south and fought with local Sunni tribes as they approached the main southern city of Aden, where President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi took refuge after fleeing the capital last month.

On Sunday the militia seized the airport and a nearby military base in Taez, Yemen's third-largest city which is just 180 kilometres (110 miles) north of Aden and seen as a strategic entry point to Hadi's southern refuge.

Europe
Terror on the Doorstep: ˜Jihadists are Posing as Refugees'
[Breitbart London] It is "relatively easy" for jihadists to gain access to the European Union by coming with an influx of refugees, the head of the European Union's counter-terrorism group has warned.

Although jihadists have to this point seemed to find no difficulty in slipping between Europe and the Islamic State by way of porous eastern borders and Turkey, the enormous volume of humans crossing the Mediterranean every week, and EU-funded efforts to help them, appears to be offering another route of ingress. Counter-terror chief Gilles de Kerchove said: "We must be vigilant. It is relatively easy to enter into the European Union when one joins an influx of refugees", reports TheLocal.at.
Probably premature to consider visas, passports, border checkpoints, that sort of thing.

The sources added that the tankers were carrying fuel from Bloody Karachi

The tankers caught fire as the gunfire ignited the fuel payload, following which the snuffies picked up four drivers and fled to some holy man's guesthouse an undisclosed location in the mountainous region.

Fire fighters were dispatched from Mastung city to put off the fire.

Levies and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel reached the spot as a probe into the incident went underway.

A search operation was launched in the area to ensure the safe recovery of kidnapped drivers, Levies said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, however, Levies suspect Baloch separatist snuffies could be behind the attack.

Security forces regain strategic heights in Tirah
[DAWN] Security forces have regained strategic heights in the Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency after fierce festivities with murderous Moslems.

According to a separate report filed by Dawn correspondent in Landi Kotal, 24 forces of Evil were killed and several others injured when helicopter gunships pounded suspected murderous Moslem hideouts in the valley.

The main targets of the air attacks were areas considered to be strongholds of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam

murderous Moslem group. The areas included Sadana, Maza Thal and Khyber Sungar. At least five murderous Moslem hideouts were destroyed.

Sources said that in Tirah Valley festivities, one officer and six soldiers were killed and 30 troops were maimed. The festivities broke out after forces of Evil recaptured Khyber Sungar Post near the border with Afghanistan.

The bodies of the troops who died in the festivities and the injured soldiers were taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar

The sources said security forces later regained all positions, including Khyber Sungar Post.

Major, six troops killed in festivities with murderous Moslems
A visitor reported having seen around 12 empty coffins outside the hospital mortuary. Two bodies had been brought to the CMH on Saturday.

An official said troops had also captured important ridges, including Ghulam Ali hilltop, Takhtakai and Nagrosa tops. He said security forces had for the first time entered the areas in Tirah. Security forces had launched the Khyber-II offensive last week to flush out forces of Evil of Lashkar-e-Islam and other banned outfits from the area.

The Inter-Services Public Relations has claimed that more than 80 forces of Evil have been killed and 100 maimed in the fresh offensive. Militants have denied the official claim which could not be verified from independent sources because media has no access to the area.

Security forces expelled elements of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam from Bara, after the Khyber-I operation was launched last year. Bara has been handed over to political administration and internally displaced persons have started returning to their homes.

The ISPR said that Gen Sharif reaffirmed the army's determination to take the operation to its logical conclusion. He said Lions of Islam would be cornered in isolated pockets. He vowed to continue the operation and wipe out all Lions of Islam from urban centres and remote areas for the sake of the country's peace and prosperity. The army chief also visited maimed soldiers at the CMH. He praised the resolve and indomitable spirit of the troops.

Three more suspected militants killed in 'encounter'
[DAWN] Police killed three more suspected hard boyz in an 'encounter' on Sunday in a sign of an upsurge in action against hard boyz in the wake of the two kabooms -- on Rangers and a Bohra mosque -- on Friday. They had bumped off five suspected hard boyz in 'encounters' late on Saturday night.

The suspected myrmidons, including their ringleader, who were allegedly involved in terrorist attacks on security forces in Fata, were rubbed out in the Sohrab Goth locality on Sunday evening, said police officials.

Police acted on a tip-off received from an intelligence agency and conducted a raid in Jamali Goth behind Quetta Town where they came under attack, leading to an exchange of fire, in which the three suspects were killed. Their four accomplices escaped, said Malir SSP Rao Anwar.

One of the dead was identified as Qudratullah, alias Commander Sher, who was head of the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) in Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...

," he said.

He was also involved in kidnapping for ransom and extortion in the city. The two other dead were identified as Akhtar Wali and Hayatullah, who hailed from Mohmand Agency and Waziristan, respectively.

Police claimed to have seized five bags of kaboom, a hand grenade, a rocket launcher and other arms and ammunition from their custody.

According to intelligence reports, SSP Anwar said, after reported merger of four TTP factions, the hard boyz in the metropolis had been given different tasks of targeting police and Rangers personnel, vital installations and security officials.

On Saturday night, law enforcers killed five hard boyz in two separate encounters in Manghopir and Orangi Town.

The Nishtar Colony police had already started the paperwork but haven't done much else against dozens of unknown protesters for torturing and burning the two youngsters alive in the wake of Youhanabad suicide kabooms.

ISIS also is reportedly reorganizing forces in Hawija, south of the oil-rich city of Kirkuk.

"Late last night, Daesh bully boyz (ISIS) attacked Peshmerga bases in the Bashik Mountains but they were pushed back by our forces," Peshmerga commander Qadir Badeli told Rudaw.

"The collation Arclight airstrikes were intensely shelling ISIS fighters, forcing them to back away and leaving their weapons behind," he added.

, in northern Iraq, including Kurdish civilians, under multiple pretexts: such as having family members in the government army or the police or the Peshmerga forces, or in some cases for their disloyalty to the "Caliphate".

Civilian sources in Mosul indicated that the Lions of Islam also began arresting Islamic holy mans who refused the instructions of the radical group.

"Kurds are being expelled from Mosul under the pretext of cooperation with the Peshmerga," an activist told ARA News on condition of anonymity.

"The private property of the detainees has been seized by the group," the source added.

Speaking to ARA News, Nouri al-Khalil, a newly displaced man from Mosul, said that nearly 150 Kurdish families were seen fleeing Mosul over the last few days. They were able to escape through the Wana area.

"Many locals in Mosul are backing IS forces of Evil by providing them with intelligence information about civilians in the city," al-Khalil said.

"It seems those supportive locals are receiving portions of the cars, houses and shops confiscated by the group," he added.

The preparations made by the U.S.-led coalition, the Iraqi government and the Peshmerga forces for the battle of Mosul is the main reason behind arresting a huge numbers of civilians, who might be later used as human shields by the group in the war against opponents. According to locals IS fears those suspects have links to or may assist the joint Iraqi coalition forces who intend to regain Mosul.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
White House: Israel's '50-year occupation' must end now
[Iran Press TV] The White House has called on Israel to end its "50-year occupation" of the West Bank and East al-Quds (Jerusalem), criticizing Tel Aviv over its continued settlement activities in the occupied Paleostinian territories.

In a speech to an American Jewish advocacy group in Washington on Monday, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough said, "An occupation that has lasted for almost 50 years must end, and the Paleostinian people must have the right to live in and govern themselves in their own sovereign state."

"Israel cannot maintain military control of another people indefinitely, that's the truth," McDonough said at the final event of J Street's 2015 conference, a three-day gathering of American Jewish students, activists and lobbyists.

"Paleostinian children deserve the same right to be free in their own land as Israeli children in their land," he said. "A two-state solution will finally bring Israelis the security and normality to which they are entitled, and Paleostinians the illusory sovereignty and dignity they deserve."

In a war in 1967, Israel captured the West Bank and East al-Quds. Since then, Tel Aviv has continued to expand its illegal settlements there. The issue has become a major obstacle for the efforts to establish peace in the Middle East.

The UN and most countries regard the Israeli settlements as illegal. The settlements are subject to the Geneva Conventions, which forbids construction on occupied lands.

If you remember a few weeks back when the regime said "Bibi could not possibly know what was in the Iranian deal"...? Some here immediately dropped the flag.

Bibi came to Washington with a purpose. He knew the Congress didn't have the facts, and that is why the Champ became so butt hurt over the Bibi's trip. It had little to do with his address to Congress. It was the off-line briefing(s) that the Champ feared.

We have to a get lot of our news from foreign news outlets due to the sell-out of the MSM. Now the Congress has to depend upon foreign intelligence services to keep informed as well.

Indonesia Detains Alleged IS Recruiters
[AnNahar] Indonesian anti-terror police have nabbed

five men who allegedly arranged for a group of mostly women and kiddies to try and enter Syria to join the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS) group, an official said.

The 11 children, four women and one man, detained in the Turkish border town of Gaziantep, are the latest example of Indonesians heading to battlegrounds in the Middle East.

Fears have been growing about the influence of IS in Indonesia, which is the world's most populous Moslem-majority nation and has long struggled with Islamic militancy. Hundreds of Indonesians are feared to have joined the jihadists.

In a series of raids in and around Jakarta at the weekend, elite anti-terror police rounded up the five men, who are suspected of helping the 16 people who were recently caught.

The men are accused of involvement in "coaching, guidance, and recruitment of sympathisers of IS to depart to Iraq and Syria... and the collection and distribution of funds for the activities of IS volunteers in Indonesia," said national police front man Rikwanto, who goes by one name, late Sunday.

Four were charged specifically with helping arrange documents for the group to depart for The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
, as well as previously helping another 21 Indonesians who went to join IS.

One of the suspects faced a separate charge of urging people to join IS on his website, as well as creating and uploading a video online of children being trained by the jihadists.

Police did not name any of the suspects.

They also confiscated items including nine mobile phones, eight million rupiah ($600) and $5,300 in U.S. dollars.

The 16 recently arrested are still in detention in Turkey.

Jakarta has already banned support for IS, which controls vast swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, although experts have called on authorities to take further steps to stop the flow of fighters.

Indonesia has waged a crackdown on Islamic bad boy groups for more than a decade following attacks on Western targets, including the 2002 Bali bombings that killed 202 people. The campaign has been credited with weakening key networks.

said.

In a breaking news alert, the channel said children were among the casualties in "terrorist shelling of the city."

The bombardment was also reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britannia-based monitor, which put the corpse count at 13, including five children.

The group reported at least 33 people maimed and said the corpse count was expected to rise because of the number of seriously injured.

The Observatory said the rocket fire hit several neighborhoods in the government-controlled west of Aleppo, and came a day after at least four people were killed in similar rebel fire.

Once Syria's industrial powerhouse, Aleppo has been ravaged by the conflict, and control of the city is divided between the government-held west and rebel-held east.

Government forces regularly pound rebel-held areas from the air, and opposition fighters fire rockets and mortar rounds into the west.

HRW warned there had been a "race to the bottom in Syria, with rebel groups mimicking the ruthlessness of government forces."

Elsewhere, the Observatory said five children from the same family were killed in a government barrel kaboom on a town in the southern Syrian province of Daraa.

Barrel bombs are crudely made weapons -- barrels or oil drums packed with explosives -- that are usually dropped by helicopter and have been criticized as indiscriminate by rights groups.

More than 215,000 people have been killed in Syria since an anti-government uprising that began with peaceful demonstrations in March 2011.

The conflict has since become a complex multi-front war that has attracted thousands of imported muscle to jihadist organizations such as the Islamic State

IS grabbed credit on Saturday for a double kaboom on Kurdish new year festivities in the northeastern city of Hasakeh on Friday night.

On Monday, the Observatory said the toll in that attack had risen from 45 to 54 dead, among them 20 children.

Peshmerga murdered execution style in latest ISIS video
[RUDAW.NET] A Peshmerga soldier dressed in a yellow jumpsuit was murdered execution-style with a shot to the back of the head, in an ISIS video posted online Monday, just days after a similar posting before Newroz showed three captive Kurdish soldiers beheaded by the Lion of Islams.

The 24-minute video -- entirely in Kurdish -- showed the Peshmerga soldier sitting cross-legged on dirt ground in a forest, in front of a gunman with a pistol and a dozen black-clad riflemen around.

"I am from the town of Bamarni in Duhok province," the Kurdish soldier said, expressionless and steely in the face of death. "Now I am in the hands of the Islamic State

(ISIS)," he added, before going on to attack Kurdish authorities with words and phrases often found in ISIS propaganda.

"Many people have misunderstood the Islamic State," he added. "Until now, no one has come forth for a hostage exchange. The Islamic State urged the KRG for an exchange but they never answered," he said.

"You all know what is the punishment of anyone who fights the Islamic State, it is death," declared a young, unmasked gunman with a pistol before shooting the Kurdish soldier from behind.

On Thursday, just before the Newroz feast that Kurds celebrate as their New Year, another ISIS video showed three Peshmerga beheaded by the Lion of Islams.

That shocking video, again showing Kurdish-speaking ISIS members, prompted Barham Salih, former prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), to declare last Saturday's annual Newroz celebration as "Newroz of defiance."

791 Palestinians imprisoned in Syria, others missing
[ARA] The Syrian Network for Human Rights released a statement Sunday, expressing its concern about the high numbers of victims of torture and enforced disappearance among Syrian-Paleostinians, saying they have been "languishing in the jails of the Syrian regime due to the large number of prisoners".

The network said in the statement, of which ARA News received a copy, that at least 791 Paleostinians are held in Syrian regime's prisons, adding that many other cases went undocumented due to the shortage of information and the hesitation of some of the detainees' families of disclosing their relatives' arrest for security concerns.

The network called on the Syrian regime to disclose the fate of the Paleostinian prisoners held in detention centers.

"The Syrian regime's systematic torture of detainees, especially the Paleostinian refugees, must stop and they should be treated according to the international laws and conventions that prohibit torture of detainees," the network's statement read.

The security and judicial authorities conceal the information about the Syrian Paleostinian detainees in the regime's prisons, "and this is deemed as crime of enforced disappearances".

The group also launched a distress call to the Arab and international human rights
One man's rights are another man's existential threat.
' organizations to assist in revealing the fate of the Paleostinian detainees in Syrian prisons.

Noteworthy, the number of Paleostinian refugees in Syria exceeds the 500,000 refugees distributed in a number of camps within several Syrian provinces. The Yarmouk refugee camp, south of the capital Damascus, is one of the largest Paleostinian refugee camps in diaspora, which suffers now from suffocating siege imposed by the Syrian regime military forces, where at least 100 people have died of starvation.

Islamic State's militants destroy Yezidi monument in Shingal
[ARA] On Sunday, murderous Moslem fighters of the Islamic State

(IS/ISIS) bombed the renowned Yezidi ancient minaret of the Shingal district (120 km west of the city of djinn-infested Mosul

), in northern Iraq.

Speaking to ARA News, Siyamend Hemo, fighter in the Shingal's Protection Force (local defense gang) said that Sunday morning gunnies of the Islamic State group blew up Shingal's minaret --located in central al-Madina city-- after filling it with a large amount of explosives and improvised bombs.

"The gunnies also bombed more than seven houses belonging to the Yezidi minority in the same region," Hemo added.

"Shingal's Protection Force strongly condemns what has been done by the terrorist gangs of Daesh (Islamic State group) which demolished landmarks, monuments and archeological sites in Iraq," he told ARA News.

The IS hardline murderous Moslems bombed Shingal's minaret which dates back to the year 1127 AD (built during the reign of Imad ad-Din Zanki) and was considered one of the most important symbols of the city.

The minaret is deemed the most prominent archaeological monument in the district with a height of 12 meters, according to historical sources.

Noteworthy, the Islamic State blew up the Sayeda Zeinab shrine in the early hours of Sunday after controlling al-Madina in August 2014. The Shingal's minaret and Sayeda Zeinab shrine are the most prominent monuments in the area of Shingal.

3000 Yezidi women held by ISIS
[ARA] The directorate of Yezidi abductees affairs in the province of Dohuk, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, reported that they have rescued more than 900 people of the Yezidi minority from the grip of the radical group of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. (IS/ISIS), who had been held by the group since it took control of the Shingal district in August, 2014.

Hussein al-Qaedi, director of abductees affairs, told local news hounds that they stepped up their efforts to save those who have fallen in the hands of IS terrorists.

About 4,500 Yezidi civilians are held captives by the IS hardline group.

"We accelerated our efforts to save them by all possible means," al-Qaedi said, pointing out that among the survivors were 304 women and 430 children.

He added that the process of saving hostages is being done confidentially, confirming that "large amounts of money were paid for their release".

The total number of Yezidis who escaped IS brutality in the Kurdistan region has reached 55,000 people, according to Hadi Dobani, director of the Yezidi affairs office in the province of Dohuk.

"During IS attacks, 1280 Yezidis were killed, 540 others were reported missing, while 280 people died on the Sinjar Mountain when they were trapped," Dobani reported.

Dobani explained that the process of releasing the abductees requires investigations and then negotiations through mediators.

In the meantime, the head of the Supreme Committee of international relations for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Dindar Zebari, said that the number of the Yezidi women held captives by IS Death Eaters has reached 3,000 women, most of them are teenagers.

"We are highly concerned about the fate of those captives amid the mounting brutality of the IS terrorist group," Zebari said.

After being captured, the Yezidi women are subject to forced conversions, marriages, rape and assault, according to Human Rights Watch

Noteworthy, in a handful of situations, a few Yezidi girls and women were able to escape detention with the help of locals in the IS-held areas. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
the Yezidi suffering continues as many captives are still held in detention except those who were offered temporary refuge by locals in northern Iraq before being able to flee to the Kurdistan Region or neighboring countries.
