Afghanistan
Release of Afghan Deputy Minister a Failed Operation
[Tolo News] On Tuesday, Kabul Special Forces launched an operation in Deh Sabz district of Kabul to release the Deputy Minister of Public Works, Ahmad Shah Waheed, from the kidnappers who kidnapped him last Tuesday, but the operation was unsuccessful.

An Afghan police officer was injured during the gunfire battle between the police force and kidnappers. Afghan police officer was shot twice in the leg.

Kabul Police Chief Gen. Zahir Zahir, who led the failed operation, told TOLOnews that before the operation launched residents of Deh Sabz cooperated with the investigation by providing leads to Minister Waheed. Though, before the police force could arrest the kidnappers they had already escaped the premises with the minister in midst of the clash.

"The kidnappers were informed that we detained Fawad, a man who was providing food for the suspects," Zahir said. "Unsuitable land, ups and downs and water-filled holes of Deh Sabz district paved the way for them to runaway."

Deh Sabz is a location known for kidnapping; it's located in northeastern Kabul. Gen. Zahir said that 15 kidnapping cases were filed from this district.

Minister Waheed was kidnapped by four unknown gunnies last Tuesday morning while he had just entered his vehicle in Khair Khana area of Kabul city.

Jihadists Now Control Secretive U.S. Base in Libya
A camp on the Libyan coastline meant to train terror-hunters has instead become a haven for terrorists and al Qaeda.

I ran across this five minutes ago and it seemed to 'resonate' with TW's posted article from The Daily Mail early this morning.
A key jihadist leader and longtime member of al Qaeda has taken control of a secretive training facility set up by U.S. special operations forces on the Libyan coastline to help hunt down Islamic militants, according to local media reports, Jihadist web forums, and U.S. officials.

In the summer of 2012, American Green Berets began refurbishing a Libyan military base 27 kilometers west of Tripoli in order to hone the skills of Libya's first Western-trained special operations counter-terrorism fighters. Less than two years later, that training camp is now being used by groups with direct links to al Qaeda to foment chaos in post-Qaddafi Libya....

#5  It may be roughly similar as per Guam [CNMI?] in future time as China + PLA [Nuclear Islam?] expand into our area of the Pacific.

IMO the scenario is very real that iff the PLA in future doesn't take over former USDOD Milbases on Guam in sole after the US vacates or surrenders Guam, the US may have to accept = "share" Guam andor CNMI allowing the PLA to have one base at one of Guam while the USDOD stays on another at the other end.

Unlike Russia + Ukraine-Crimea, CHINA + PLA HAVE MANY SOVEREIGN, GEOPOL OR BATTLE FRONTS TO DEAL WITH IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THEIR "POST-US" MANIFEST DESTINY AS FUTURE WORLD#1. THIS MAKES A MIL CONFRONTATION + WAR BETWEEN THE US + CHINA INHERENTLY MORE DANGEROUS, DESTABILIZING, OR POTEN MORE DESTRUCTIVE THAN US-VS-RUSSIA IN UKRAINE.

AS PER 1960'S-70'S GUAM TAOTAMONAS + THE LATE HUGO CHAVEZ INCLUDING PARROT + BERET ROUGE, THE STAGE OR BACKGROUND IS BEING SET FOR OWG AMERIKA = US + USDOD TO SINK OR DESTROY KEY PACIFIC ISLANDS [Hawaii?]AS IT ROLLS BACK ACROSS THE PACIFIC TOWARDS CONUS-NORAM, AS PART OF COVERT "A2/AREA-DENIAL" = STRATEGIC/THEATER DENIAL AGZ ITS GEOPOL ENEMIES OR RIVALS.

Save that in 2014 + to come, mainstream Amerika + many in Soon-to-be-OWG-Globalist Nationalist Washington DC don't realize or recognize it yet.

TO BE FOREWARNED IS TO BE FOREARMED - THE TIME TO CHANGE THE ABOVE WAS YESTERDAY, OR NOW, WHILE AMERICA = AMERIKA STILL CAN.

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.

Jihadist Group in Mali Announces Death of French Hostage
[An Nahar] One of Mali's top jihadist groups said on Tuesday a French hostage it had kidnapped in November 2012 was dead.

The Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO
...Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa, another offshoot of Qaeda in North Africa. Currently active in Mali and southern Algeria, the idea is to do as much good in West Africa as AQIM has done in North Africa...
), a splinter group of al-Qaeda's regional branch, told AFP Gilberto Rodrigues Leal "is dead, because La Belle France is our enemy."

Yoro Abdoul Salam, a front man for the group, gave no details on the date or circumstances of Rodrigues Leal's death during a brief telephone exchange.

Pressed for evidence in the absence of any pictures or video footage of Rodrigues Leal's body, he said that "in the name of Allah, he is dead," before hanging up.

The announcement came two days after French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said he was "extremely worried" about the safety of the 62-year-old.

"We haven't had any news for a long time. We are in contact with the family but we are extremely worried," he said.

Rodrigues Leal was kidnapped on November 20, 2012 by gunnies near the western town of Kayes as he was driving a camper van from Mauritania.

Arabia
US personnel sifting through rubble on ground in Yemen after drone strikes
[FOXNEWS] U.S. military personnel has been on the ground in Yemen sifting through the aftermath of recent drone strikes, helping to retrieve bodies and data from the scene of a handful of weekend drone strikes carried out by the CIA, a source told Fox News on Tuesday.

Separately, Fox News has learned that U.S. pilots provided airlift to Yemeni troops via Russian-built MI8 helicopters overnight for a separate ambush on a vehicle believed to be carrying top Al Qaeda myrmidons.

The missions follow the recent targeting of suspected turbans in the country. On Monday, a suspected U.S. drone strike in southern Yemen killed 68 people, a Yemeni government official said Tuesday, though a list compiled on preliminary DNA testing was not yet complete. The official emphasized that Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leadership was not the target of the raid.

But a list of the dead, now being circulated among Jihadi social media in Yemen, does include what are described as "high value" targets, including a senior recruiter and religious scholar. The names are being reviewed by US intelligence officials.

Also on Tuesday, Yemeni officials said gunnies killed four senior security officers in the past 24 hours in a string of attacks. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief the media, said the assailants riding cycle of violences bumped off three colonels -- two of them in the intelligence agency and one from military police -- in Sanaa on Monday and early Tuesday.

They say gunnies also rubbed out a deputy security chief Tuesday in the central city of Harib.

In another Yemen-related development, a Yemeni government official confirmed to Fox News that a recent propaganda video released by Al Qaeda in Yemen was a "gold mine" for intelligence, revealing the faces of operatives, identifying their vehicles, the license plates and their location in the rugged mountains of the south, an area that is largely outside the Yemeni government's control and similar to the lawless tribal areas of Pakistain. The source characterizes the video as an apparent "miscalculation" by Al Qaeda in Yemen, helping the security forces narrow the focus of the operation, which came in three waves over the weekend.

Yemen Jails Qaida Man for Plotting General's Murder

Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
an al-Qaeda Death Eater for 15 years on Tuesday on charges of helping plan the murder of the commander of a blistering 2012 offensive against the jihadists.

The state security tribunal found Sami Dayan guilty of "taking part in plotting the liquidation of General Salem Ali Qatan, the chief military commander in south Yemen."

Dayan was also convicted of "forming an gang to carry out terrorist acts," and of attacking military bases.

Co-defendant Farhan Awad al-Saadi was tossed in the calaboose
Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
for four years.

A Somali jacket wallah killed Qatan on June 18, 2012 as he headed to his office in the southern port city of Aden.

The assailant detonated his explosives after throwing himself on Qatan's car. A medic related to Qatan said the attacker shook hands with the general before blowing him up.

Saudi Arabia Sentences 8 To Death For 2003 Riyadh Attack
[Ynet] A Saudi court sentenced eight people to death and 77 others to prison on charges related to attacks against expatriate residential compounds in the country's capital more than a decade ago, the official press agency said.
And so they should. No real country allows its people to rampage at will among the king's guests, even if they all are damned kaffirs. Though in this case the mills of Allah ground excessively slowly, indeed.
In the May 2003 attacks, Death Eaters shot and bombed their way into the three compounds in Riyadh. The assault left 35 people dead, including eight Americans and nine attackers.

Benghazi attack could have been prevented if US hadn't 'switched sides in the War on Terror' and allowed $500 MILLION of weapons to reach al-Qaeda militants
[DailyMail]
Everything y'all said here at the time and since? You were right.
Notice that once again you have to go to a British newspaper to read about America...
o Citizens Committee on Benghazi claims the US government allowed arms to flow to al-Qaeda-linked gunnies who opposed Muammar Qadaffy
...a proud Arab institution for 42 years, now among the dear departed, though not the dearest...

o Their rise to power, the group says, led to the Benghazi attack in 2012
o The group claims the strongman Qadaffy offered to abdicate his presidency, but the US refused to broker his peaceful exit
o The commission, part of the center-right Accuracy In Media group, concluded that the Benghazi attack was a failed kidnapping plot
o US Ambassador Chris Stevens was to be captured and traded for 'blind sheikh' Omar Abdel-Rahman, who hatched the 1993 WTC bombing plot

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented -- if the U.S. hadn't been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier.
Photo at link of Commission members is subtitled
The Citizens Committee on Benghazi released its interim findings on April 22, 2014 in Washington. Pictured are (L-R) Clare Lopez, Admiral (Ret.) Chuck Kubic, Admiral (Ret.) James 'Ace' Lyons, former CIA officer Wayne Simmons and civil rights attorney John Clarke
'The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,' Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline.

She blamed the B.O. regime for failing to stop half of a $1 billion United Arab Emirates arms shipment from reaching al-Qaeda-linked turbans.

'Remember, these weapons that came into Benghazi were permitted to enter by our armed forces who were blockading the approaches from air and sea,' Lopez claimed. 'They were permitted to come in. ... [They] knew these weapons were coming in, and that was allowed..

'The intelligence community was part of that, the Department of State was part of that, and certainly that means that the top leadership of the United States, our national security leadership, and potentially Congress -- if they were briefed on this -- also knew about this.'

The weapons were intended for Qadaffy but allowed by the U.S. to flow to his Islamist opposition.

'The White House and senior Congressional members,' the group wrote in an interim report released Tuesday, 'deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler [Muammar Qadaffy] who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress al-Qaeda.'

'Some look at it as treason,' said Wayne Simmons, a former CIA officer who participated in the commission's research.

Retired Rear Admiral Chuck Kubic, another commission member, told news hounds Tuesday that those weapons are now 'all in Syria.'

'Qadaffy wasn't a good guy, but he was being marginalized,' Kubic recalled. 'Qadaffy actually offered to abdicate' shortly after the beginning of a 2011 rebellion.

'But the U.S. ignored his calls for a truce,' the commission wrote, ultimately backing the horse that would later help kill a U.S. ambassador.
Kubic said that the effort at truce talks fell apart when the White House declined to let the Pentagon pursue it seriously.

'We had a leader who had won the Nobel Peace Prize,' Kubic said, 'but who was unwilling to give peace a chance for 72 hours.'

In March 2011, Kubic said, U.S. Army Africa Commander General Carter told NBC News that the U.S. military was not actively targeting Muammar Qadaffy. That, Kubic revealed, was a signal to the Libyan dictator that there was a chance for a deal.

Qadaffy responded by 'verifiably ... pull[ing] his forces back from key rebel-held cities such as Benghazi and Misrata.'

Qadaffy wanted only two conditions to step down: permission to keeo fighting al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), and the lifting of sactions against him, his family, and those loyal to him.

The B.O. regime's unwillingness to help broker a peaceful exit for the Libyan strongman, 'led to extensive loss of life (including four Americans)' when al-Qaeda-linked gunnies attacked U.S. diplomatic facilities in the city of Benghazi,' the commission told news hounds.

The White House and the National Security Staff did not immediately respond to questions about the group's findings.

'We don't claim to have all the answers here,' said Roger Aronoff, whose center-right group Accuracy in Media sponsored the group and its work.
'We hope you will, please, pursue this,' he told news hounds. 'Check it out. Challenge us.'

Retired Admiral Chuck Kubic said the White House refused to let the Pentagon pursue a peaceful exit for Muammar Qadaffy: 'We had a leader who had won the Nobel Peace Prize, but who was unwilling to give peace a chance for 72 hours'

The commission and AIM filed 85 document requests under the Freedom Of Information Act, hitting the Department of Defense, State Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency with demand after demand.

But most of its information has come from insiders with deep knowledge of the flow of weapons in Libya and elsewhere in the African Maghreb.

Admiral James 'Ace' Lyons told the group that he believes the raid on the Benghazi compound was intended as a kidnapping exercise, aimed at snatching U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and demanding a prisoner swap for the 'blind sheikh' Omar Abdel-Rahman.

Abdel-Rahman is serving a life sentence in federal prison for planning the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center garage in New York City. He also criminal masterminded a plan, later foiled, to blow up the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
, both the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, the George Washington Bridge and a federal building where the FBI had a base of operations.

A senior FBI source, Lyons said Tuesday, 'told me that was the plan.'
The attack, history shows, grew in intensity and resulted in the deaths of Stevens and three other U.S. personnel.

Lyons also said U.S. claims that it lacked the resources to mount a counterattack in time to save lives is false.

'I'm going to tell you that's not true,' he said. 'We had a 130-man unit of forces at Sigonella [AFB in Italia]. They were ready to go.'

'The flight time from Sigonella to Benghazi is roughly an hour.'

Some of the group's claims strain credibility, including the assertion that the B.O. regime's early effort to blame the Benghazi attack on a protest against a crude anti-Mohammedan YouTube video 'appears to have been well-coordinated with U.S.Moslem Brüderbund organizations as well as Islamic state members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).'

Those groups, the commission noted, 'all joined in condemnation of the video, and, even more troubling, issued calls for restrictions on Americans' free speech rights.'

But Simmons, the former CIA officer, criticized the B.O. regime on the familiar refrain of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as The Heroine of Tuzla and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Dean Acheson ...
exclaiming in a Senate hearing that it mattered little why the Benghazi facilities were struck.

'They believed they were going to be saved, that they were going to be rescued, but they weren't,' Simmons said of the four Americans who died.

'I know who made the decision, in my heart of hearts, to leave our war fighters there and be blown up. And then to have one of the most powerful politicians in our country sit there and say, "What difference does it make?" -- should be an alarm bell for all Americans.

'It haunts me,' Simmons said. 'I play that line over, and over, and over, and over in my mind.'

The group has called for a Select Congressional Committee to investigate the Benghazi episode. A total of 189 House members have signed on to a bill that would create the committee, which would be bipartisan and have sweeping powers to subpoena the executive branch.

House Speaker John It is not pronounced 'Boner!' Boehner
... the occasionally w eepy leader of House Republicans...
, Lopez said Tuesday, 'he blocked it. One has to wonder if he and Congress have had some sort of briefing on what happened.'

Kubic insisted that Congress is unable to break logjams in the B.O. regime and find out what happened in the days leading up to and following the Benghazi attack without a new committee.

'If they don't have strong subpoena power, if they don't have the ability to do long-term cross examination, it won't work,' he said.

Nine suspected militants arrested from Peshawar hospital
[DAWN] Nine suspected Death Eaters including three injured with gunshot wounds were tossed in the calaboose

from the Lady Reading hospital on Tuesday as they were brought to the hospital for treatment.

The official sources said that the suspected Death Eaters belong to a banned outfit operating in the Khyber Agency adding that they were first shifted to the Khyber Teaching Hospital for treatment but were referred to the LRH for further treatment.

The three alleged Death Eaters in injured condition were brought by six people in an ambulance to the LRH Beautiful Downtown Peshawar
...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire.
where police arrested all of them.

Some sources claimed that these Death Eaters might have been injured in a shootout with the security forces or due to infighting and were later brought to the hospital for treatment.

The police officials present on the scene refused to give details about the arrests and took away the suspects in a police mobile.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Saleem Aman told that few injured persons were brought to the hospital but they were not admitted for treatment.

The hospital officials said that the suspects including three injured were brought to the hospital but the police arrested them as soon as they were brought and took them away.

Another high ranking official source said that the injured people were brought to the Khyber Teaching Hospital in the morning from the Badbher area where they might have been injured last night in a gun-battle with police after an attack on security forces.

Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Najeebur Rehman Bahwai said that the police have arrested some suspects from Peshawar and are investigating to find their probable link to the Badbher incident.

He said that security forces have also recovered the body of a myrmidon from the spot who was wearing security forces uniform while the severed hand of another has also been recovered from the spot in Badbher where the attack on police had left five dead.

German Rapper-Turned-Jihadist Reported Dead in Syria
[An Nahar] A German former rapper who joined jihadists fighting in Syria has been killed in a suicide kaboom carried out by rival fighters, jihadist sources and a monitor said Tuesday.

Denis Mamadou Cuspert, who rapped under the name Deso Dogg but took on the name Abu Talha al-Almani in Syria, was reported to have been killed in a suicide kaboom Sunday in an eastern province.

He was a member of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant
... the current version of al-Qaeda in Iraq, just as blood-thirsty and well-beloved as the original...
(ISIL) and was reportedly killed in a double suicide kaboom carried out by Al-Nusra Front, a rival jihadist group that is Al-Qaeda's Syria affiliate.

Messages posted on jihadist Internet forums announced his death.

"The Islamic nation is bleeding with the news of the martyrdom of the jihadist fighter, brother Abu Talha al-Almani. May he be accepted by God," one message read.

"His death is the result of a suicide kaboom carried out by the traitorous soldiers of (Nusra chief Abu Mohammed al-) Jolani against a house in which a number of ISIL brothers were staying," it added.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a British-based monitoring group, also reported the suicide attack carried out on Sunday.

"Two members of Al-Nusra Front blew themselves up the day before yesterday, killing 16 ISIL fighters," Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP.

Abdel Rahman said a fighter known as Abu Talha was among those killed in the attack in Deir Ezzor province near the boundary with Hasakeh province.

Trucks Deliver Aid to Besieged Tufail
[An Nahar] Aid trucks delivered on Tuesday food packages and fuel oil to the residents of Tufail on the Lebanese-Syrian border through the backing of armed forces.

Tufail, which lies in eastern Leb in an area surrounded by Syrian territory, was isolated after the only road that leads to the town came under the control of Syrian government troops.

Scenes of jubilation accompanied the arrival of the aid trucks, while other residents expressed their anger against Syrian authorities despite their backing of Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...

"We only want the deployment of the Lebanese army in Tufail," they declared.

"We do not want any support or aid from Syria. All we want is the Lebanese state's backing," they added.

The Syrian military has made successes against rebels in the Qalamoun region with the support of fighters from Hizbullah since the government launched an offensive in November in the strategic area, a wedge of mountainous territory between Damascus and the Lebanese border.

Another dirt road leads to Tufail via Brital, but is in poor condition. The residents of Tufail, who are Sunnis, are afraid to pass through the Shiite town, which supports Hizbullah.

Tuesday's aid was delivered to Tufail's residents in the town of Ras al-Harf.

Tufail is now home to 3,000 Lebanese and some 5,000 Syrian refugees.

Maj. Gen. Mohammed Kheir, the secretary general of the Higher Relief Council, denied there were armed Syrian rebels in Tufail.

"Everyone agrees on the need to bring aid to its residents," he told news hounds before the convoy of aid left for the town.

The Mufti of Baalbek and Hermel also thanked Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq for his efforts to help the town's residents.
