Wisconsin Supreme Court orders end to investigation into GOP presidential hopeful Walker
HT to Insty and Gabriel Malor. The WI Dems ran a criminal enterprise via the State's Prosecuto, handpicked corrupt Judge and Milwaukee County DA John Chisholm. They all need jailtime and civil fines
The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Thursday ended a secret investigation into whether Republican Gov. Scott Walker's campaign illegally coordinated with conservative groups in winning his 2012 recall election

The court's action is a major victory for Walker as he pursues the presidency, though one expert said prosecutors could appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. No one has been charged in the so-called John Doe probe, Wisconsin's version of a grand jury investigation where information is tightly controlled, but questions about the investigation have dogged Walker for months.

The case centers on political activity conducted by Wisconsin Club for Growth and other conservative organizations during the 2012 recall, which was spurred by Democrats' anger over a Walker-authored law that effectively ending collective bargaining for most public workers.

Prosecutors accused Walker and the groups of illegally coordinating their campaign efforts in violation of state law. They denied wrongdoing.

Republicans called the investigation, launched by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, a Democrat, a partisan witch hunt. Wisconsin Club for Growth and its director, Eric O'Keefe, filed a federal civil rights lawsuit last year seeking to halt the probe, arguing the investigation violates their free speech rights. U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa sided with the club but a federal appellate court later tossed out the lawsuit, saying the issue belonged in state courts

Dems defend Planned Parenthood
[THEHILL] Democrats have been mostly silent on the issue as details continued to emerge Tuesday evening, when Planned Parenthood
...has received federal funding since 1970, when President Richard Nixon signed into law the Family Planning Services and Population Research Act. It is sometimes described as the gynecololgical wing of the Democratic party.
released 11 pages of attack points against the makers of the video.

The rapid rise of what has widely been called a "sting video" has surprised some Democrats on the Hill, including one aide who called the attention "unexpected."

When asked about Republicans' planned investigations into Planned Parenthood, Schakowsky said she wanted an investigation, instead, into the Center for Medical Progress, which she called "a phony company."
As opposed to an organization that is actively violating federal law over the use of aborted fetal tissue...
Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), another prominent supporter of abortion rights, also dismissed the latest attacks against Planned Parenthood.

"They've been attacking Planned Parenthood for years," she said. "They've been calling for investigations for years, and they surface videos and they come on the attack ... and I think it's outrageous."

Lee also said she has not seen the video.
Nor will she...
Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), who is also a member of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, said she had not heard of the video and could not comment.

"I'll take a look at it, but I did not see it so I have no idea what's in it," she said.

From a comment on another blog yesterday:

"She is such a rabid pro-choice advocate that I often wonder if it is because she is still trying to defend that choice from so long ago. If it becomes illegal again, it is just more proof that what she did was wrong."

I think this sums up the vast bulk of the pro-abortion thing. Perhaps the worst and most deadly manifestation of the hamster.

Asked afterward why he and others waited until this week to take action, Murphy struggled for an answer before abruptly ending the interview with CQ Roll Call, saying he should not be quoted and remarking, 'This interview didn’t happen.'"

#7  Right on Mr. B." the 'spit and whittle club'" I remember many such conversations. "In my day we would have strung-em up". 90+ old timer said that about politicians. His 90+ plus friend was called Crackers because candy was too expensive at the general store. That's all he could afford. Wood stove in the center of the room with benches or chairs to sit on. Many stories told. Husband and wife fighting about a mouse. He's commin in by the nut barrel. No he's commin in by the apple barrel. OK. man sets trap at each barrel. Later that night a snap is heard. Wife asks well you gonna check to see who is right?. Naw you check. She checks and comes back upstairs and doesn't say a thing. Well, asks the husband?. We caught-em by the nuts!. Of course the wife was right. Dats why they never should have let women vote.

#12  Besoeker, I like that quote. But I would add that the Tea-Party Republicans are threatening to take over the right. The old guard will fight and complain and try to cut them off at the knees whenever possible but I believe the population supports some serious reform/restoration.

#13  The traditional Democrat no longer has a party. The traditional Republican is seeing the same thing happening to them. This onerous vacuum will allow the most unexpected results. Elect a strong person to the presidency. The Republican leadership will follow along as they have with O. As long as he or she has the popularity. They will bide their time and strike at the most opportune moment. Strike as they see fit. Like Tip O'Nell, he being the true power under Carter. The media will provide cover as well. This time I don't believe things will go as planned. Too many chiefs in the mix jockeying for power for their own groups. This is no longer a country united together for the betterment of all. Each group vies for power among their own.

Macy's Takes it In the Shorts
Macy's is paying the price for sacking Donald Trump, because we've learned thousands of customers are cutting up their Macy's credit card in protest.

Sources connected to the department store tell TMZ, Macy's has received complaints from approximately 30,000 customers since ending its relationship with Trump nearly 2 weeks ago.

We're told the store has been "inundated with complaints" from customers who believe the department store is unfairly punishing Trump for his views on immigration.

Our sources say thousands of customers have vowed never to shop at Macy's again and many of them say they're cutting up their Macy's credit card to make a statement.

We're told the complaints have come in various ways, including phone, Facebook and email. A Macy's spokesperson would only say, "Our Facebook page is often times used by our customers to express their feelings or points of view. Many times it does not correlate to any action."
Leave it to TMZ to come up with the scoop. If you want to get the real news, don't bother with ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS or BBC.
Question for the Donald at his next presser: would you short Macy's?

Sanders: If '€˜Cruel' Austerity Forced on Greece, the Nazis Will Rise
[PJ Media] Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) warned today that austerity measures in Greece could lead to a Hitler-style rise of Nazis in Europe.

Greek lawmakers approved a bailout plan today despite voters rejecting similar measures last week, sparking violent protests in Athens. They'll have to institute tax reform, pension overhaul and spending cuts to qualify for some $96 billion in bailout aid.

Sanders called the situation "a tragedy of enormous proportions."

"In the last five years, as a result of austerity measures, the Greek economy has contracted by 25 percent. Today, unemployment is 26 percent, youth unemployment is near 60 percent and 30 percent of the people in Greece are living in poverty," he said in a statement.

"Tragically, Germany and other European creditors are trying to squeeze blood out of a stone. Instead of providing an agreement with Greece that allows its economy to grow and create jobs, generate more tax revenue and eventually pay back their debt, Greek creditors have insisted upon even greater austerity: cutting jobs, making deeper pension cuts, increasing regressive taxation and privatizing important parts of the Greek economy."

The Democratic presidential candidate and self-described socialist added that "of all countries on earth, Germany, whose economy was destroyed as a result of the Treaty of Versailles and the harsh measures associated with it, should understand that a nation in deep depression should not be squeezed even more."
Sanders is more than a 'self described' socialist, he's a full blown communist. I believe we've seen the Nazi meme previously.

#2  "In the last five years, as a result of austerity measures, the Greek economy has contracted by 25 percent."

In other words, it is returned to the actual value of its productivity.

Why is that a bad thing?

And if they wanted more material stuff than the worth of their labor and were trying to finance it against a future time of more productivity, could they please give an exact date for that future productivity and factual evidence of how it will come about?
Posted by: no mo uro || 07/16/2015 5:28 Comments || Top||

#3  So if they're not allowed to live off the labor of others, involuntarily confiscated (slavery), they'll become socialists.

Same thing either way, innit?
Posted by: Rob Crawford || 07/16/2015 7:05 Comments || Top||

#4  Covet thy neighbors wealth, bear false witness, steal. Key tenets of socialism to which Sanders is an acolyte. To take something without intention of returning without the consent of the owner is still stealing regardless of the spiel of politicians.

Now you witness how socialists and plantation owners rationalize their behaviors of taking the product of labor, skill, ability of others for themselves without proper compensation.

#13  AlanC, the main difference is national character. The Nazi's were Germans and thus well motivated in everything they did. Even the German brand of Communism was nearly successful compared to the other communist states. Lay facism ontop of Italia and you can't tell it from Socialism or Communism without studying the numbers and determining the relationships with other nations.
