-Lurid Crime Tales-
Tech specialist who helped Hillary Clinton set up her private email server was paid with TAXPAYER dollars
[DAILYMAIL.CO.UK]
The Daily Mail, doing the reporting American reporters won't do...
  • Bryan Pagliano, 39, helped Clinton set up her controversial email server
  • He is finding his own words could come back to bite him
  • 'Some things that look like good ideas…may actually have bad consequences,' he told an IT webinar last year
  • Pagliano been told to appear before Congress's Benghazi committee
  • But his lawyers said that he will plead the Fifth to every single question

#1  What? You think some broad that can't do her own shopping, pay her own bills, make her own tea would pay her own money for this when her serfs taxpayers will?

#2  The dual administrative system consisting of the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation somewhat resembles the dual administrative structure in communist regimes.

For every state/government administrative entity there is a counterpart in the communist party structure. There's also usually personnel overlap at higher levels.

The Clinton Foundation seemed to play a role similar to e.g. the International Department of The CPSU Central Committee.

#4  The method of payments to Platte River Networks should be interesting.

Can't you guess?

#5  Interesting - this article says he was instead paid by the Clintons personally. Makes me wonder if he ever got a W-2 or 1099-MISC for his troubles. If that's the case, I can hazard a guess and say no.

#6  Raj, no doubt the Daily Mail did its 'truthy' (he was a civil service employee at the time, but moonlighted for the Clintons) headline to generate views.

As you alluded, it's not illegal for a civilian (or military) government employee to have non-government employment, but one has to often jump through hoops, and certainly have the requisite paperwork.

Government
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) wants to shut down Benghazi committee
[Breitbart] In an op-ed in the New York Times, Schiff, ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and a member of the Select Committee, says the investigation has "little more than a partisan tool to influence the presidential race," and must be stopped--for Congress's own sake.

Schiff blames Republicans for politicizing the Benghazi issue. He completely ignores the way in which President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton promoted a false narrative about an anti-Islam YouTube video--ensuring that the filmmaker was jailed--to avoid election-season fallout from their failure to protect the U.S. consulate and their refusal to respond appropriately to the attacks as they unfolded on the night of Sep. 11, 2012.

In addition, Schiff says, a report last year by the House Intelligence Committee "debunked the many conspiracy theories alleging malicious actions or a vast cover-up." As Breitbart News noted at the time, the report concluded that there was no intelligence failure, and suggested there was no "stand down" order, as some alleged. Yet it did not exonerate Obama or Clinton--and it did not even interview anyone from the White House or State Department.

Schiff's real problem is the Clinton emails, which have led to an FBI investigation, and suggest some evidence on Benghazi may have been hidden or destroyed. He repeats her defense--that no emails were "marked classified at the time she received them." The law, as Schiff is no doubt aware, covers classified information, not just documents "marked classified." There is also evidence some emails were altered. (Curiously, Schiff exempts emails she sent.)

In the Times, Schiff calls for the Benghazi committee to be disbanded--just as it has begun to uncover damning evidence that could lead Congress to learn, finally, the truth about Benghazi.

Schiff, who also offered early support to the Iran deal, has exposed himself as nothing more than a partisan hack, a party operative placed on the committee to sabotage it once it became a threat to Clinton's ambitions. Fortunately, he is certain to be ignored.

#1  Republican committee spokesman Jamal Ware pulled no punches in his response, noting in an e-mail to reporters that Schiff “has only attended one of the more-than-45 interviews conducted to date by the Select Committee on Benghazi.” He added that if Schiff “truly cared about Benghazi and getting to the truth . . . he would actually show up and help guide the direction of the investigation.”

#2  Schiff is giving short-shrift to the rest of the country. If there is nothing to hide, let the investigation continue. From what I can see, it is mostly the left party hacks on the committee who are making this a partisan process. Their credo is "Party before Country."

#3  When are people going to call out the truth? IT DOESNT FUCKING MATTER IF THEY WERE MARKED! The data was classified, and she knew it by their very nature. Its a violation of the law, and that "excuse" does not mitigate it in the least.

When will someone grow a pair and charge that greedy bitch?

Rahm Emanuel proposes record-breaking set of tax hikes to save city
[Kanuk Free Press] As Chicago continues its long, slow, march toward becoming the new Detroit, there are a few things you can count on. Crime will go up, services will suffer, and progressives will demand more tribute from their subjects. They'll argue that increased taxation will save the city, they'll hike rates, and then they'll learnthat their refusal to solve underlying budgetary issues will only speed the implosion.

This has been the standard playbook employed by virtually every destitute left-wing dystopia in the United States and, lo-and-behold, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is doing everything in his power to make sure his city follows suit.

He's proposing a slew of new taxes, including a massive $500 million property tax increase - a modern-era record - which will fund "most" of next year's city budget gap. As CBS Chicago reports, residents are less than thrilled.

#6  Because that is exactly what is needed to attract new business and convince people to stay.

Take more of their money.

The only thing the left knows how to do is to steal what belongs to someone else.

#7  Fuck em, they re-elected that shit head.

Until the average citizen learns that voting for a Democrat means higher taxes, higher crime, and lower services, this type of therapy is needed.

Here in California, the citizenry has been 1984ed into believing anything. Of course, the MSM and television here NEVER reports anything about what is going on with the state government. Heck, we never learn about a new tax until it has been approved and they start collecting it.

So true. One might even think that most of the crime is being done by the Donks--inside and outside of government.
