#2  When I was a kid we were going through the Carolinas when a waitress advised us to be "careful if the Highway Patrol pulled us over." It seems that because of criminals hauling semi-trailer loads of (tobacco) cigarettes down the back roads to avoid state taxes there had been a number of fatal shooting of officers over the preceding months -- 1 or 2 a month.
So it isn't necessarily a BLM/crazy problem in that area.

Kenya On Alert Over Imminent Al-Shabaab Attack On Soft Targets
[RADIOSHABELLE] Kenya security agencies on high alert after intelligence reports indicated that Al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
could be planning a major attack on areas near Kenya’s border with Somalia.

The Intelligence reports noted that al-Shabaab fighters have set up a plan to attack KDF and police camps in Mandera county.

Kenyan Police front man Charles Owino said the agencies operating at the border areas were put on standby due to reports that the Death Eaters were gathering in El-Ade area of Somalia’s southern region, Gedo.

"Security agencies are also on alert for any possible attack by al-Shabaab fighters targeting security installations and any other soft targets along the border between Mandera and Elwak," he said.

He added that in the past two weeks, the murderous Moslems had been converging close to the Kenyan border. The buildup has been evident in Hola, Dura, Jidahaley, Juma, and Ilkabere.

The Anti-Stock Theft Unit camp in El Ram, Mandera South, was identified as the main target.

fighters in Middle Shabelle region.

Reports say the fighting flared up after heavily armed fighters stormed checkpoint in the south of Jowhar town.

Relative calm has returned to State’s administrative after last night’s attack on the town by the fighters.

Last Saturday, Somali forces killed six al-Shabaab suspected fighters following heavy fighting between the sides.

Despite the loss of many towns to Somali forces backed by continental troops, al-Shabaab struggles to overthrow the Somali government.

Boko Haram kills Red Cross staff Hauwa Liman
[PULSE.NG] Members of the House of Representatives have called on the Federal Government to commence negotiations with Boko Haram

Speaking on the matter, Hon. Chike Okafor said there is an urgent need to negotiate with the terror group so those in their custody can be released.

Turkish police shoot tractor driver who rams cars near Israeli envoy’s residence
[IsraelTimes] Wounded driver says he planned a protest outside the Israeli embassy.

Police in Ankara on Tuesday shot the driver of a tractor that struck a series of cars in the Ottoman Turkish capital. The driver, who ignored calls to stop and was shot in the leg, later told police he planned a protest outside the Israeli embassy, the state-run news agency
...and if you can't trust the state-run news agency who can you believe?...
reported.

The man, a 45-year-old farmer, was eventually stopped in an area close to the Israeli ambassador’s residence. It was unclear whether the driver mistook the residence for the embassy.

An Israeli official, who did not wish to be named, said, "To the best of our understanding, the incident was not related to Israel or its embassy."

The Ankara governor’s office said the man had been under treatment for psychological problems since 2007.

Anadolu Agency said police guarding the parliament building fired warning shots into the air to stop the tractor on Ataturk Boulevard, which is lined with government buildings and embassies. The report said the tractor continued on its way, hitting and crushing cars before coming to a halt.

Anadolu said the man told police before being taken to a hospital that he planned to stage a protest outside the Israeli embassy.

The Israeli ambassador returned to Israel in May following a diplomatic dispute between the two countries.

The Ankara governor’s office said in a statement that the incident was being investigated but officials could find no links to terror.

In 2016 a Ottoman Turkish man with psychological problems tried to storm the Israeli embassy in Ankara but was shot before reaching the building. The man, armed with a 30-centimeter (12-inch) knife, ran towards the embassy shouting slogans and was shot in the leg. Israel’s Foreign Ministry said the assailant was shot by a local guard and that no embassy staff were maimed.

Mastermind behind Ahvaz terrorist attack killed in Iraq’s Diyala, IRGC says
[PRESSTV] Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says a high-ranking commander of the ISIS Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
terrorist group, who apparently criminal masterminded the recent deadly terror attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz, has been killed in Iraq’s eastern province of Diyala.

The IRGC public relations department announced in a statement released on Tuesday evening that the high-profile bad boy, better known by the nom de guerre Abu Dhoha, was killed along with four assistants in an ambush carried out by the Iraqi pro-government Popular Mobilization Units ‐ commonly known by the Arabic word Hashd al-Sha’abi.

On October 1, the IRGC rained surface-to surface ballistic missiles on the positions of ISIS in eastern Syria, which along with the al-Ahwazia separatist group took responsibility for the September 22 terrorist attack in Ahvaz.

The IRGC announced in a statement that the missiles were launched at 2 am local time (2230 GMT September 31) from the western Iranian city of Kermanshah.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Palestinians use explosives to damage Israel-Gaza border fence
[IsraelTimes] IDF says around 100 protesters clash with troops along boundary; several cross into Israeli territory but return when soldiers fire warning shots

Sections of the security fence along the border with the Gazoo Strip were damaged Tuesday by bombs set off by Paleostinian rioters in the southern Strip, the Israel Defense Forces said.

In a separate incident, a group of Paleostinians broke through the Gazoo security fence and approached an IDF post. Troops fired warning shots at the men, who ran back into Gazoo, the army said in a statement.

Approximately 100 Paleostinians clashed with troops along the border, according to the army. IDF units responded with tear gas and live fire. Two Paleostinians were maimed in festivities with Israeli troops, the Shehab news agency reported.

The violence came hours after Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman called on his fellow ministers to approve a large-scale military campaign against the Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, terror group in Gazoo in light of the ongoing riots.

According to the defense minister’s assessment, a "serious blow" to Hamas would result in four to five years of calm along the Gazoo border ‐ akin to the quiet that persisted from the end of the 2014 Gazoo war, known in Israel as Operation Protective Edge, until the start of the current round of festivities in late March ‐ a few limited skirmishes notwithstanding.

On Monday an Israeli military aircraft bombed a Hamas position in the southern Gazoo Strip after two Paleostinian men set off an bomb near the security fence earlier in the day, the army said at the time.

There were no immediate reports of Paleostinian injuries in the Arclight airstrike.

Rocket fired from Gaza hits house in Beersheba; no injuries
[IsraelTimes] IDF says it identified two launches from the Strip; one projectile lands in courtyard of home; five people, including a mother and three children, treated for anxiety

Paleostinian holy warriors in the Gazoo Strip fired a rocket at the southern city of Beersheba early Wednesday that landed and went kaboom! in the courtyard of a house, causing damage, but no injuries.

The IDF said it had identified two launches from Gazoo. One targeted Bersheeba located some 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the Strip. A second rocket was fired out to sea.

Rocket attacks on the city are rare and considered a major escalation. The attack came after Israel’s defense minister warned the military was gearing up for a major strike on Gazoo to stop ongoing violence.

Rocket warning sirens blared at 03:40 am and residents reported hearing a loud blast. The rocket landed in the courtyard of a private house. No one was hurt in the kaboom but five people were being treated for anxiety.

This was only the second rocket fired at Beersheba since the 2014 Gazoo war. Another rocket struck a field north of Beersheba on August 9 and came as Paleostinians fired dozens of projectiles at Israeli communities along the Gazoo border.

Most of those attacks are carried out with mortars or short-range Qassam rockets, however, Paleostinian terror groups can only reach Beersheba with the longer-range Grad rocket.
Good to know.
Israel Radio said that even though the sirens went off, the rocket was not intercepted by the Iron Dome system because there were no batteries deployed in the area at the time.

Following the attack, the Beersheba municipality announced that schools in the city would be closed for the day.

The attack come as Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman urged the cabinet to authorize large-scale military campaign against the Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, terror group in Gazoo in light of ongoing riots and violence along the Strip’s security fence.

According to the defense minister’s assessment, a "serious blow" to Hamas would result in four to five years of calm along the Gazoo border ‐ akin to the quiet that persisted from the end of the 2014 Gazoo war, known in Israel as Operation Protective Edge, until the start of the current round of festivities in late March, a few limited skirmishes notwithstanding.

The defense minister said the "straw that broke the camel’s back" and convinced him that a full-scale military action was necessary in Gazoo was the rioting that took place along the border last Friday evening, after Israel allowed additional fuel into the Strip that had been purchased by Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
"We have exhausted all other options in Gazoo," Liberman said during a visit to the Israel Defense Forces’ Gazoo Division headquarters near the Strip.

"Now is the time to make decisions," he added.

The security cabinet, which approves such military campaigns, met Sunday to discuss the possibility of an attack against Hamas, but ultimately decided to wait until the week’s end in order to give negotiators a chance to convince the group to abandon its current violent tactics.

On Wednesday, the cabinet is due to meet again.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
US: Foreign fighters still joining ISIS in Syria
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Foreign fighters continue to flow into Syria to join ISIS despite its forces being largely decimated, Pentagon Joint Chiefs chairman Joe Dunford said Tuesday.

Even though the bully boy group’s territory has shrunk to a fraction of what it once was, new followers arrive, mostly over the Ottoman Turkish border, at a rate of about 100 a month, Dunford said.

While that is down from a peak of about 1,500 a month three years ago, it shows that ISIS’s ability to attract followers remains potent, he said.

"It’s the flow of imported muscle, the ability to move resources, and the ideology that allows these groups to operate," Dunford said, opening a conference on countering violent extremism.

Dunford also said that the inflow adds to the mounting problem of how to handle hundreds of captured imported muscle whose home countries will not take them back.

He said the Syrian Democratic Forces are holding more than 700 ISIS fighters from around 40 countries.

"The progress of returning these fighters home for prosecution has been delayed by political considerations and inconsistent legal frameworks."

Britannia, for example, has refused to repatriate the two remaining men of the ISIS unit dubbed the "Beatles," which kidnapped, tortured and beheaded a number of foreigners including journalists.

London stripped them of their citizenship and has said it does not want them back.

The United States has repatriated one of its ISIS imported muscle to stand trial, but has not divulged the fate of any others thought to be held in Syria or Iraq.

two Islamic State fighters and killed three others that refused to surrender to their forces in Idlib city.

Furthermore, the HTS security forces managed to seize a large quantity of weapons and explosives that were located inside the building used by the Islamic State fighters.

Meanwhile,

inside the town of Ariha, Ahrar al-Sham stormed the Islamic State’s main hideout that is located near the electronic substation.

Pro-opposition activists claimed that intense festivities would breakout between ISIS and Ahrar al-Sham’s security forces, resulting in casualties for both parties.

Some of the Islamic State hard boyz refused to surrender and chose to detonate their boom jackets instead, the activists added.

This large-scale security operation in the Idlib Governorate was launched this week in response to the string of liquidations that targeted Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s command.

Turkish military convoy enters northwest Syria after jihadists refuse to leave Idlib buffer zone
[ALMASDARNEWS] A large Ottoman Turkish military convoy entered northwest Syria from the Hatay Province this morning, opposition activists reported via social media.

According to the reports, the Ottoman Turkish military sent more than ten armored vehicles through the Bab al-Hawa Crossing in northern Idlib.

Furthermore, the Ottoman Turkish military convoy was reportedly escorted by a large number of fighters from the Free Syrian Army
... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund...
’s (FSA) al-Sham Corps.

The Ottoman Turkish military convoy traveled to their observation posts near the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines in the Idlib and Hama provinces.

This move by the Ottoman Turkish military comes just 24 hours after the jihadist rebels refused to leave the designated buffer zone in the Idlib, Aleppo, Latakia, and Hama governorates.

The Ottoman Turkish military will likely attempt to convince the jihadist rebels to leave the buffer zone before the Russian and Syrian forces decide to launch an operation to expel them from the region.

Clashes in Palestinian Refugee Camp Wound 6
[An Nahar] Lebanese security officials say festivities between rival Paleostinian factions in a refugee camp in southern Leb maimed at least six people.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, said most of the six maimed are Fatah members.

Clashes are uncommon in the camp of Miyeh ou Miyeh, near the port city of Sidon.

Last year, the first official census of Paleostinian refugees in Leb revealed that they numbered 174,422, a figure almost two-thirds less than previously estimated. The refugees include those who fled or were driven out of what is now Israel during the 1948 war and their descendants.

Terrorists abduct several Iranian forces near Pakistani border
[PRESSTV] Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says bandidos turbans have kidnapped a number of Iranian forces in the southeastern Province of Sistan-and-Baluchestan, which borders Pakistain.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the IRGC confirmed that local Basij volunteer forces and border guards had been among those kidnapped overnight near the town of Mirjaveh on the Pak border.

Members of "terrorist groups led and backed by foreign services" carried out the kidnappings by "deceiving and bribing infiltrators."

Iranian security forces, it added, are preparing to carry out operations to chase the bandidos turbans and secure the release of those kidnapped.

Earlier in the day, Iranian media quoted informed sources as saying that 14 Iranian forces had been kidnapped in the village of Lulakdan near Mirjaveh.

The Fars news agency later revised down the number of abductees to 11.

Media reports are also speculating that the abductees had been fed poison by the bandidos turbans prior to being crossed over into Pakistain.

In recent, Iranian border guards have repeatedly come under attacks by terror outfits active on the Pak soil.

The so-called Jaish ul-Adl terror group ‐ which is based in Pakistain ‐ usually claims responsibility for such assaults.

Tehran has repeatedly filed protests with Islamabad over its failure to end terror activities on the Pak side of the border. Two neighbors had signed a security deal in 2013.
