[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A Taliban bully boy has murdered three members of his own family in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan.
According to local security officials, the incident took place late on Sunday night in Qaisar district.
Provincial police front man, Syed Massoud Yaqoobi confirmed that the rogue Taliban fighter, Syed Massoud executed two women and a man belonging to his own family.
Yaqoobi further added that a child belonging to the same family was critically injured following the attack.
He said the main motive behind the execution has not been ascertained so far and police have launched an investigation into the incident. He had a quota to meet and he was running out of time.
Faryab is among the volatile provinces in northern Afghanistan where anti-government armed bully boy groups are actively operating and frequently carry out insurgency activities.
However, denial ain't just a river in Egypt... incidents involving murder of own family members by Taliban fighters are rare and have not been reported so far.

[AnNahar] One man was killed Monday as Kenyan security forces tossed in the slammer Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out! over 200 people and seized weapons in raids on mosques accused of links with Somalia's Al-Qaeda affiliated Shabaab myrmidons, police said.
Security forces began the operation in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting the Masjid Musa and Sakina mosques in the port city of Mombasa.
"We had information that the group has been planning an attack, and that is why the raid was conducted," Mombasa police chief Geoffrey Mayek said, adding that 201 people had been arrested.
A 20-year-old man was rubbed out by police during the raid in the Musa mosque after he tried to throw a grenade at officers, Mayek said.
"As we entered the mosque, one youth armed with a hand grenade attempted to hurl it at our officers who quickly shot him," he told news hounds.
Hand grenades and a pistol were seized.
Several Islamic preachers have been rubbed out in Mombasa in recent years in alleged extra-judicial killings by security forces and power struggles between rival Moslem factions. Churches have also been attacked.
Hussein Khalid, from the Mombasa-based civil society group HAKI Africa, condemned the raids, warning that "force will only act to heighten tension in what is already a volatile situation."
Western nations have warned their nationals to avoid all but essential travel to Mombasa, a key transport hub as well as an important tourist center for the country's Indian Ocean coastline.
The city has been hit by bombings and shootings since Kenya invaded Somalia in 2011 to attack the Shabaab, later joining an African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... force battling the Islamists.
The Shabaab carried out the September 2013 attack on Nairobi's Westgate shopping mall, killing at least 67 people as a warning to Kenya to pull its troops out of southern Somalia.
[Ynet] A Turkish-born law student has been found guilty in Britannia of a terrorism-related offense after a rare semi-secret trial. The decision was reached by a jury last week but only made public Monday when the judge lifted reporting restrictions.
Erol Incedal was found guilty by a jury at a London courthouse of possessing a bomb-making document likely to be useful to a terrorist.
The jury failed to reach a verdict on a related charge and he is scheduled to face retrial early next year.
Prosecutors had sought to have the trial held in secret on national security grounds. After a challenge from media organizations, a judge ruled that some sections should be held in public. But a large part of the evidence was heard behind closed doors.
[DAWN] KARACHI: Three people, including a boy, were rubbed out while three others were maimed in a gun attack in SITE on Sunday night, police and hospital officials said.
The officials claimed that the real target of the attackers appeared to be a person with an alleged criminal record, who was killed in the attack while the others were 'passers-by'.
SITE-A cop shoppe SHO Fasih Zaman said 30-year-old Sajid was sitting on a road near a mosque in Bhawani Chali in Metroville when armed motorcyclists opened fire on him, leaving him critically maimed.
When another man, identified as 40-year-old Raheem Shah, who was sitting with him, tried to hold the gunnies, they opened fire on him as well. As a result, six people, including passers-by, were maimed, who were taken to different hospitals, where doctors pronounced Sajid and Raheem dead on arrival, said an official of the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The official added that 10-year-old Irfan maimed in the attack died during treatment.
Two other maimed men, identified as 62-year-old Sherzada and 40-year-old Mehbood, were admitted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, said Dr Seemin Jamali, head of the JPMC's emergency department.
The maimed men told hospital officials that they were shot at and maimed while returning from the mosque after offering prayers there.
SITE-A SHO Fasih Zaman claimed that the actual target of the attackers was Sajid, who allegedly had a criminal record, and the rest appeared to be passers-by.

Two suspects were arrested from Lahore's Nawab town today. Moreover, banned religious literature was also recovered from their possession.
Police are still interrogating the suspects whose names have not been disclosed as yet.

[DAWN] The army says 10 more Death Eaters in Bara tehsil of restive Khyber tribal region have surrendered to security forces along with their weapons and ammunition.
In a short statement to media on Monday, the military's public relations wing said 350 Death Eaters have so far surrendered to security forces since the start of Operation Khyber-1 last month.
The total number includes more than 20 key bad boy commanders, said the statement.
On Friday, 39 Death Eaters belonging to Lashkar-e-Islam ...a group of Islamic bandidos infesting Khyber Agency. It's headed by a former bus driver.... (LI) surrendered to security forces ‐ the largest group of Death Eaters to give up arms since the launching of the intelligence-based operation.
The military launched the offensive on October 16 with air strikes against LI hideouts in the areas of Tirah and Bara controlled by bad boy commander Mangal Bagh ...a former bus driver, now head of the Deobandi bandido group Lashkar-e-Islam and the Terror of Khyber Agency... .
The outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (Tariq Afridi group) also controls several parts of Tirah valley, but the outfit joined hands with LI chief Mangal Bagh after he invited all outlawed bad boy groups to come to Bara and fight against security forces following the launch of the military operation.

[DAWN] A major, two other army personnel and 34 suspected gunnies were killed in a fierce shootout and air strikes in Dattakhel area ... which is owned and operated by Hafiz Gul Behadur... of North Wazoo tribal region on Sunday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the army personnel and seven gunnies were killed during a search operation and four soldiers were maimed in a clash.
Maj Wasif, Subedar Jahangir Sadique and Sepoy Nazir bit the dust in the gunbattle.
The incident took place a day after Maj Gen Zafarullah Khan, the officer in charge of North Waziristan, claimed that the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb ..the Pak offensive against Qaeda in Pakistain and the Pak Taliban in North Wazoo. The name refers to the sword of the Prophet (PTUI!)... military operation had reduced the Death Eaters' ability to carry out attacks.
Another 27 suspected gunnies were killed when military planes and helicopter gunships attacked their hideouts and compounds.
A blurb issued by ISPR said two local Death Eater leaders and foreigners were among the dead. The air strikes followed a Death Eater attack on security personnel at Spera Ghar at about 4am.
The banned Tehrik-e-Taliban's Gul Bahadar group grabbed credit for the attack carried out in an area about 45km from the agency headquarters, Miranshah ... headquarters of al-Qaeda in Pakistain and likely location of Ayman al-Zawahiri. The Haqqani network has established a ministate in centered on the town with courts, tax offices and lots of madrassas...
Talking to news hounds by phone, the group's front man Ahmadullah Ahmadi claimed that 16 soldiers had been killed and six military bunkers taken over by Death Eaters.
"We will respond to the military operation through 'Zarb-e-Moneen'," he said.
According to Rooters, military sources said eight soldiers were missing after gunnies attacked a checkpost with rockets and grenades.
A curfew was imposed in Dattakhel and soldiers were combing the area around the Spera Ghar checkpoint for their missing colleagues, they said.
The area is closed to journalists unless they travel with the military and most of the civilian residents -- around a million people -- were ordered to leave their homes till the offensive continued.

[DAWN] KHUZDAR: A grenade attack on a shopping complex left one person dead and 13 others injured here on Sunday.
According to police, men on a cycle of violence hurled a grenade at the Arbab Shopping Complex and escaped. "A man was killed on the spot," police officer Abdul Majeed Marri said, adding that the target of the attack was unclear.
Police and Frontier Corps personnel took the injured to district hospital where three of them were said to be at death's door.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and humanitarian aid commissioner Christos Stylianides said in a statement that the killing of Kassig and 18 men described as Syrian military personnel showed IS's "resolve to pursue its terror agenda in breach of all universally recognized values and rights."
"All perpetrators of human rights ...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state... abuses must be held accountable. The EU will spare no effort towards this objective," they said in their statement.

EU countries Belgium, Britannia, Denmark, La Belle France and the Netherlands are participating in U.S.-led air strikes against Islamic State in Iraq, but no EU country is taking part in the strikes against the group in Syria.
A video released by IS bully boyz showed the beheading of Kassig, who took the name Abdul-Rahman after converting to Islam, and that of 18 men described as Syrian military personnel.
Kassig's death was confirmed by President Barack Obama Ready to Rule from Day One... .
The 26-year-old was captured last year and was threatened in an October 3 video showing the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning.

Two Palestinians armed with a gun and a meat cleaver killed four people in a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday before being gunned down by police. Israel's ambulance service said at least eight people were seriously injured.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to respond with a "heavy hand", and again accused Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of inciting violence in Jerusalem. Abbas issued a statement condemning the attack.
A worshipper who attended the morning service in the Kehillat Bnei Torah synagogue in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of West Jerusalem said about 25 people were praying when shooting broke out. He said, "I looked up and saw someone shooting people at point-blank range. Then someone came in with what looked like a butcher's knife and he went wild."
Pictures posted by an Israeli army spokesman on the Internet showed a man in a Jewish prayer shawl lying dead, a bloodied butcher's cleaver discarded on the floor and overturned prayer tables.

[IsraelTimes] Israeli police said foul play was not involved in the apparent suicide of an East Jerusalem bus driver overnight, deflecting claims by relatives that the man was killed by Jewish snuffies in a Dire Revenge attack.
Police said Monday morning that no signs of violence were found on the body of the driver, identified in Paleostinian media as Yusuf Hassan al-Ramouni, 32, who was found hanging from a rope inside a bus at a depot for Israeli transportation company Egged late Sunday night.
âHowever, a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth... in coordination and cooperation with the family, the body will be examined at the Forensic Institute,â police said in a statement. âContrary to reports in the foreign press, there were no signs of violence found on the body.â
Just hours after the body was found, riots broke out in several East Jerusalem neighborhoods overnight Sunday-Monday. A number of Paleostinian organizations in East Jerusalem called for a general strike that would also include Paleostinian bus drivers, according to Israeli news outlet Ynet.
The incident sparked widespread unconfirmed reports online of a lynching by Israelis.
The manâs family told Paleostinian media that signs of violence were found on the body and rejected the suicide claim.
Fellow bus driver Muatasem Fakeh said he had seen evidence that Ramouni was attacked. âWe saw signs of violence on his body,â he told AFP. âHe was hanged over the steps at the back of the bus in a place where it would be impossible to hang yourself alone,â he added.
Police said stones and Molotov cocktails were hurled at security forces in the capitalâs A-Tur, Ras al-Amud and Abu Dis neighborhoods, prompting a response with riot dispersal methods, which generally means stun grenade and tear gas.
A bus driver was lightly injured in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood after being pelted with stones.
In Silwan, three minors were locked away Book 'im, Mahmoud! for throwing rocks at traffic.
Ramouni was a father of two from Jerusalemâs A-Tur neighborhood. His family said he was not suicidal.
Pictures published by the Paleostinian Maâan News Agency purported to show bruises on Ramouniâs body.
The incident came several hours after a Jewish man was stabbed with a screwdriver while walking near Jerusalemâs Old City, once again ratcheting up tensions in the city after several days of shaky calm.
His attacker fled after the assault, and police said Monday morning a manhunt was still ongoing.
The victim, 32, from the Breslov Hassidic sect, was on Hanevi'im Street, which lies close to the seam between West and East Jerusalem, when an Arab man attacked him from behind with a screwdriver, Israel's Channel 2 reported.
The stabbed man managed to make his way to the Border Police station at the Old City's Damascus Gate. The police escorted the victim to the Western Wall, where Magen David Adom emergency crews gave him first aid. He was then evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he was said to be in light to moderate condition.
The assailant fled on foot in the direction of Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. Police closed off the entrances to the Old City.
Police suspect nationalistic motives in the attack.
Last week, two Israelis were killed in stabbing attacks by Paleostinians on the same day.
Israel Defense Forces soldier Almog Shiloni was stabbed to death in Tel Aviv; and 26-year-old Dalia Lemkus was killed outside the Alon Shvut settlement in the West Bank last Monday.

On Monday the trial began of a man who reportedly left the country "illegally" in July 2013 to join Al-Qaeda's Syria affiliate, Al-Nusra ...the current nom de guerre of al-Qaeda in the Levant, which isn't to be confused with al-Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant... Front.
The suspect, Hammam Badr, 31, told the judge he was tasked with "cooking for Nusra fighters" but decided to quit and return home just 10 days after joining them "because I did not like the conditions there".
Another suspect also appeared in court accused of pledging allegiance to IS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdad on his Facebook page.

[InterAksyon] A source from Philippine National Police intelnligence said a newly-formed jihadist group, suspected to be led by Jemaah Islamiyah (JI)-trained Abdul Basit Usman, is in Luzon ahead of the five-day visit of Pope Francis this January 2015.
The group is apparently a 15-man so-called Special Operations Group (SOG), the source said. The SOG is claimed to be comprised of members of the Al Hansar Khilafa, which is said to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
The source said that the deployment of the SOG from Usman's Group started last June, and may have something to do with the Pope's forthcoming visit. He said the formation of Usman's group, called the "Bangsamoro Justice Movement (BJM)" may have been disrupted after the arrest of Khair Mundos this June and that of Ricardo Ayeras of the Rajah Solaiman Movement (RSM).
Mundos, a key leader of the ASG, was suspected to be casing possible routes to be taken by the pontiff when he visits the country from January 15 to 19, while Ayeras was nabbed by the police in Quezon City early last month over a simple traffic violation.
The source estimated that the combat strength of the Al Hansar Khilafa could be as many as 60 men. He said, "Their members come from the Rajah Solaiman Movement-Abu Sayyaf Group of the Isnilon Hapilon faction and Usman's former men with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF)," adding that there are also some members from the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in the Al Hansar Khilafa, with three members of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) also making up the other members of the group.
The source added that the members of Usman's SOG are in Luzon, with some of them possibly in Metro Manila and in the Southern Tagalog Region and all of them well trained in handling explosives.
A separate intelligence source had said earlier that the terror cell in Luzon is headed by an Islamic cleric from Bangladesh. He said four foreigners who joined the Bangladeshi cleric had just come from Cotabato where they were believed to have also trained militants in bomb-making and explosives handling.
[Mindanao Examiner] Two people were killed and two soldiers injured in a clash with communist militants in Camarines Sur province in the Bicol region.
Military officials said the fighting broke out in the Tinalmod village in Pasacao town on November 16 after pro-government militias and soldiers ran into a group of New People's Army militants who killed a civilian. Officials said a militiaman was killed in the fighting and that two more were wounded.
[Bangkok Post] A man was killed and his wife seriously wounded by a motorcycle gunman in Narathiwat province on Monday.
The attack occurred in Si Sakhon district shortly before noon. Security forces sent to the scene reported that Charoon Srichan and his wife, Tuenjai Boonkliang, were returning home on a motorcycle and were followed by two men on another motorcycle. As they were passing Aitue-ngo village, the pillion rider shot at them six times with a handgun.
Their daughter was killed in an attack by gunmen on March 3, 2007.

The arrest occurred while the four men were passing in the town, Voice of Leb radio (93.3) reported on Monday.
Security sources told al-Manar TV that a Syrian terrorist, Yasser al-Ayrouti, and three others were detained in West Bekaa as they were on their way from the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal.

It endorses the Prime Minister's earlier warnings of terrorist attacks in the UK and says the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant ... the current version of al-Qaeda in Iraq, just as blood-thirsty and well-beloved as the original... (Isil) will soon begin attacks against the West.

God help the US-West iff the ISIS/ISIL ever dev Second-Strike capability or follow-on. Once the ISIS/ISIL devs a credible Nuke-WMD deterrent, the odds of US-specific Mil, Nuclear counter-response to any Nuclear or WMD 9-11(s?) agz CONUS goes down substantially.
