Missile Attack By The Sudan People Liberation Movement Kill 4 Civilians, Injures 9
[Intel Briefs] 4 civilians killed and 9 injured in a missile attack by Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) on two towns in South Kordofan State in Sudan on Wednesday.

The missiles were launched at Kadolgi and Al-Dalang in South Kordofan State and are said to have target the very populated areas.

Among the 4 civilians killed two were children and the nine injured 5 were children. The attacks that targeted the eastern region of the state were executed using Katusha missiles.

The missile attack was well planned as it coincided with the elections. Officials said that the attack by the rebels was aimed at disrupting the electoral but instead boosted the morale of exercising the public's constitutional right to vote.

The rebels are associated with the opposition who have boycotted the elections and are said to have declared to target the elections in February. There has been a wagging war between the Sudanese Army and the SPLM rebel since 2011.

The missile attack was fulfillment of the rebels promise and has been preceded by other related attacks on the Sudanese civilian. The elections that have current President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir as the main contender ended on Wednesday and result are expected on April, 27.

Fighting reported in Tajoura today as Libya Dawn orders surrender of local brigade HQ
[Libya Herald] Clashes have been reported in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
's eastern suburb of Tajoura following an accusation by Libya Dawn
...aka Fajr Libya, the Islamist operation launched to counter that of General Khalifa Haftar (Operation Dignity). It is made up of the Libya Shield militia (Misrata and Moslem Brotherhood), Libya Revolutionaries Operations Room (Moslem Brotherhood), and Tripoli Brigade (close to Abdul Hakim Belhaj, head of Al-Watan party). Financing and moral support come from Turkey and Qatar...
that local forces there, including its Brigade 101, were supporting Khalifa Hafter and the Libyan National Army. Dawn issued an ultimatum yesterday for the brigade to hand over its weapons and headquarters -- an ultimatum rejected by 101.

Today's festivities, near the 101 HQ, are said to have pitted neighbouring Suq Al-Juma forces and those from Misrata against Tajoura. Casualties are as yet unknown.

Tajoura has been split over support for Libya Dawn. The local municipal council, now firmly in the hands of the Moslem Brüderbund after independent members, including the former mayor, were pressurised into resigning, backs Dawn, as does a group of the local fighters. The main militias are, however, said to support Hafter and the LNA.

There have already been a number of clashed between Tajoura forces and Dawn. Most recently in February, local fighters grabbed weapons from Dawn forces.

Nonetheless, the area is seen to be firmly in the hands of pro-Islamist militias based at Mitiga Airport, which Tajoura includes.

According to some analysts, though, today's festivities between Tajoura and Dawn are a pre-emtive move, triggered by concerns that if and when Libya National Army (LNA) forces enter the capital, fighters in Tajoura could cut off lines between the airport and Dawn fighters elsewhere in the city.

Meanwhile,
...back at the the conspirators' cleverly concealed hideout Montefiore's foot was still stuck and the hound had completely soaked his uniform with slobber...
there have been conflicting reports about LNA air strikes on Mitiga today as the plane carrying General National Congress negotiators to Morocco for UN-brokered peace negotiations was about to take off .

Pro-Libya Dawn media, the GNC's dialogue team and the UN Special Envoy himself, Bernardino Leon, have stated the claim, with Leon saying that "we have never seen air strikes at the moment when one of the delegations is taking off on its way to the talks".

He has demanded an investigation.

The GNC dialogue team has accused the House of Representatives of deliberately trying to undermine the dialogue with the attack. The GNC would have to "reconsider participation in the dialogue" as a result, it said.

LNA front man Mohammed Al-Hejazi also said that jets had had attacked Mitiga airport. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
other reports state that the target was a military base some 10 kilometres away, which had once housed SAM missiles.

Sinai bomb kills soldier, wounds 3
[ARABNEWS] An Egyptian soldier was killed and three others maimed on Thursday when a roadside kaboom hit an armored vehicle in the Northern Sinai, sources said.

The bomb was planted on a road south of Sheikh Zuweid town, security sources said. Troops and murderous Moslems exchanged fire in the area before the blast, they added.

North Sinai is at the heart of an insurgency that has killed hundreds of members of soldiers and police since 2013. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Al-Qaida Seizes Provincial Airport in Southeast Yemen
[AnNahar] Al-Qaeda bully boyz in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
on Thursday seized control of an airport in the southeastern picturesque provincial capital of Mukalla, an airport official told AFP.

"The military unit in charge of security at the facility withdrew without resisting" Al-Qaeda gunnies, the official said.

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula
...the latest incarnation of various Qaeda and Qaeda-allied groups, including the now-defunct Aden-Abyan Islamic Army that boomed the USS Cole in 2000...
(AQAP), the jihadist network's powerful Yemeni branch, took advantage of the country's growing chaos earlier this month to seize control of Mukalla, capital of Hadramawt province.

Also on Thursday, Yemeni tribal forces took control of a major oil terminal in the country's southeast after soldiers protecting the site withdrew, a military source said.

The terminal, in the city of Al-Shihr in Hadramawt province, "fell under the complete control of tribal fighters after the military unit guarding it withdrew in the afternoon without resistance," the source told AFP.

Various groups, including tribal forces and Al-Qaeda myrmidons, have taken over parts of Yemen amid chaos as Iran-backed rebels battle pro-government forces for control of the country.

Saudi warplanes bomb scientific center in Yemeni capital
[Iran Press TV] Saudi warplanes have bombarded a scientific center in the Yemeni capital, but there have been no immediate reports of casualties
Say goodbye to all those innovations coming out of Yemen, by Gum...
The latest Saudi airstrike was carried out in the late hours of Thursday night in Sana’a’s Arhab district.

Saudi warplanes also launched rocket attacks on the Monabeh region in Yemen’s northern province of Sa'ada.

Saudi Arabia’s military campaign against Yemen started on March 26 - without a UN mandate - in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. It has drawn widespread condemnation from international rights groups.

Yemeni Army & Public Committees Advance in Maareb, Saudi Strikes Civilians
[ALMANAR.LB] The Saudi warplanes continued striking the Yemeni civilians and infrastructure in Sanaa and other provinces, claiming more deaders and causing much destruction.

The Yemeni army and public committees expelled Qaeda murderous Moslems from the mountain of al-Mahjar and the valley of al-Mallah in Maareb province.

The Yemeni army and public committees also regained control over the areas of Salahuddin and Faqm in Aden after fierce festivities with Qaeda terrorists.

The Saudi-led coalition began on March 26 air strikes against Yemen, killing or wounding hundreds of civilians and causing much destruction across the state.

Media outlets reported that Soddy Arabia

The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
has deployed "100 fighter jets, 150,000 soldiers and other navy units" for the military campaign against Yemen. It also sent 5000 takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who most be killed...
murderous Moslems to fight against the Yemeni army.

The national military - supported by the Popular Committees - has launched a wide-scale campaign in the attack-hit areas, and managed to drive al-Qaeda and ISIL murderous Moslems out of main neighborhoods of Aden and Sanaa.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is known for training and funding takfiri groups and sending them to the conflict-hit zones in the Arab and Moslem world, including Syria, Afghanistan and now in Yemen.

Bangladesh
Interpol issues Red Notice against war criminal Jabbar
[Dhaka Tribune] The Interpol has issued a "red notice" for the arrest of war crimes convict Abdul Jabbar.

On February 24, the former Jatiya Party
...aka Jatiya Front; a political party established by Bangladictator Lieutenant General Hussain Muhammad Ershad in 1986 to lend a veneer of respectability to his rule. Since nobody was amused he was forced to resign by popular demand in 1990. The party remains in existence with about a dozen seats in Bangla's parliament...
politician, now runaway, was sentenced to imprisonment unto death for murders, loot, arson and deportation as crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.

While delivering the verdict against Jabbar, the International Crimes Tribunal ordered the inspector general of police to arrest Jabbar with the help of International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol).

Of the eight types of notices of Interpol, the red notice seeks the location and arrest of a person wanted by a judicial jurisdiction or an international tribunal with a view to his/her extradition. Red notice is the "closest instrument to an international arrest warrant in use today."

The Interpol list of wanted persons carried Jabbar's picture with details about the war crimes convict.

After the independence, he went into hiding and remained runaway until the political changeover of August 15, 1975.

Resuming politics, Jabbar was elected politician from Mathbaria in 1986 and 1988 with Jatiya Party ticket. He has been on the run since 2009 after the investigation against him on war crimes charges was launched.

The former chairman of the local unit of Peace Committee had played a key role in forming razakar force and led collaborators in committing crimes in Mathbaria during the war.

Europe
More on the Mediterranean alley-oop
Note the second incident with 41 tossed overboard.
Italy's migration crisis took on a deadly new twist Thursday as police in Sicily reported that Muslim migrants had thrown 12 Christians overboard during a recent crossing from Libya, and an aid group said another 41 were feared drowned in a separate incident.

Palermo police said they had detained 15 people suspected in the high seas assault, which they learned of while interviewing tearful survivors from Nigeria and Ghana who had arrived in Palermo Wednesday morning after being rescued at sea by the ship Ellensborg. The 15 were accused of multiple homicide aggravated by religious hatred, police said in a statement.

The survivors said they had boarded a rubber boat April 14 on the Libyan coast with 105 passengers aboard, part of the wave of migrants taking advantage of calm seas and warm weather to make the risky crossing from Libya, where most smuggling operations originate.

During the crossing, the migrants from Nigeria and Ghana — believed to be Christians — were threatened with being abandoned at sea by some 15 other passengers from the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali and Guinea Bissau. Eventually the threat was carried out and 12 were pushed overboard. The statement said the motive was that the victims "professed the Christian faith while the aggressors were Muslim."

The surviving Christians, the statement said, only managed to stay on board by forming a "human chain" to resist the assault.

Earlier Thursday, the International Organization of Migration said four migrants who were picked up in recent days by the Italian Navy reported a shipwreck to aid workers after arriving in the Italian port of Trapani Thursday. Their boat had originally been carrying 45 people; the others are presumed dead.

The IOM said the migrants — two Nigerians, a Ghanaian and one Nigerien — were found floating in the sea by a helicopter and were rescued by the Italian Naval ship Foscari. They had left Tripoli in Libya on Saturday and stayed adrift for four days. The location of the rescue was not immediately known.

The new tragedies come just days after aid agencies reported 400 presumed dead in the sinking of another ship near the Libyan coast. The deaths have raised calls for a more robust search and rescue of the seas between Libya and Europe amid a surge in migration between the Middle East and Africa toward Italy.
Alternately, you could fix the problem at the source. That would involve work...

Bosnian man arrested for links with jihadists in Syria
[ARA] On Wednesday, the Bosnian police placed in durance vile

(IS/ISIS) in Syria, according to the Bosnian authorities.

Kenan Krso was suspected of "several activities linked with terrorism".

"The suspect stayed for a brief period in Syria," front man for the public prosecutor's office Boris Grubesic said.

Grubesic told news hounds in Sarajevo that the suspect has met snuffies of the Islamic State, adding that Krso remained in contact with the radical group even after his return to Bosnia.

It's not the first time that Krso faces charges of terrorism. The 39-year-old suspect was already arrested in February "while walking in downtown Sarajevo dressed in a T-shirt with the Islamic State insignia".

According to reports, Bosnia passed a law last year, imposing sentences of up to 20 years in jail for convicted jihadists and their recruiters.

More than 200 Bosnians have reportedly joined the ranks of radical groups in Syria and Iraq in the past two years.

Migrants killed in 'religious clash' on Mediterranean boat
[BBC] Italian police say they have locked away
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
15 Moslem migrants after they allegedly threw 12 Christians overboard following a row on a boat headed to Italia.

The Christian migrants, said to be from Ghana and Nigeria, are all feared dead.

In a separate incident, more than 40 people drowned after another migrant boat sunk between Libya and Italia.

Almost 10,000 migrants trying to cross the Mediterranean have been rescued in recent days. Italia has called for more help from the EU to handle the crisis.
An Nahar adds:
The incident aboard the rubber dinghy, which was carrying about 100 migrants, took place in the Strait of Sicily, between Tunisia and Italia.

According to a group of Nigerian and Ghanaian survivors, a fight broke out over religion, with a group of Moslem passengers threatening the Nigerians and Ghanaians after the latter -- who were in the minority -- declared themselves to be Christians.

Great White North
Report: Two Canadian Teens in Court over 'Terrorism' Threat
[AnNahar] Two Canadian students appeared in a Montreal court Wednesday over fears they were plotting to commit crimes related to "terrorism," CBC's Radio-Canada said.

El Mahdi Jamali and Sabrine Djaermane, both 18, were ordered to remain in jug.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police did not specify why the pair was nabbed
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
, saying only an investigation was ongoing and could lead to their indictment.

Radio-Canada said they were students at Montreal's College de Maisonneuve.

The school was also apparently attended by five of seven people who allegedly went to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
en route to Syria, where they planned to join Islamic State

holy warriors, according to some of the youths' parents.

A school official could not confirm whether the students were enrolled there.

The latest arrests follow the recent detention of two other Montrealers, Merouane Ghalmi, 22, and Daniel Darko Minta, 26, who are accused of plotting acts that would threaten national security.

The federal government has proposed toughening the nation's counterterrorism laws following a lone gunman's killing of a ceremonial guard and storming of parliament in October.

Home Front: WoT
'Ohio' man plotted attack in US after receiving training in Syria
[Iran Press TV] An Ohio man has been charged with supporting the ISIL terrorist group and plotting to carry out an attack on US soil after receiving training in Syria, the US Justice Department said Thursday.

Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud, 23, of Columbus, Ohio allegedly trained with al-Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra
...the current nom de guerre of al-Qaeda in the Levant, which isn't to be confused with al-Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant...
Front in Syria and returned to the US to carry out a terrorist attack, according to the three-count indictment filed in the Southern District of Ohio.

"According to the charges in the indictment, Mohamud allegedly traveled to Syria to train with and fight alongside terrorists," said Assistant Attorney General Carlin.

In April 2014, Mohamud left the US to receive training on how to fight with bully boyz in Syria. As a naturalized US citizen holding a US passport, he bought a one-way ticket and traveled to Athens, Greece.

During a layover in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
, he did not board his connecting flight to Athens and instead completed his prearranged plans to travel to Syria.

Mohamud said he obtained training after he had arrived in Syria and learnt how to shoot weapons, break into houses, use explosives, fight hand-to-hand combat, said a federal indictment.

Upon the completion of the training, he was ordered to travel back to the US and "carry out an act of terrorism."

He arrived in the US in June 2014 and plotted to attack a military facility or a US prison, according to the documents.

He was tossed in the clink
Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try!
on Feb. 21 on state charges in Ohio and has been held by local enforcement authorities.

However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable...
he has now been indicted by a federal grand jury for attempting to provide and providing material support to bully boyz as well as making false statements to the FBI.

"Mohamud talked about doing something big in the United States," the documents say. He "wanted to kill Americans, and specifically wanted to target armed forces, coppers or any uniformed individuals."

"He wanted to go to a military base in Texas and kill three or four American soldiers execution style," the documents add.
More here from Cincinnati.com, which sources many of its non-local stories from USA Today. The report adds some interesting details:
An Ohio man trained with Islamic bandidos bully boyz abroad and came to the U.S. hoping to carry out a deadly assignment - the latest potential terrorist wannabe
*happy sigh* As written by a professional journalist!
to be nabbed by federal authorities.

Authorities say Mohamud is one of several anti-American terrorist hopefuls who came to the U.S. with a murderous mission. In the last year alone, dozens of Americans have sought to join the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
The indictment, handed down by a federal grand jury in Columbus references several "private conversations" between Mohamud and his brother, Abdifatah Aden, that discuss Mohamud's plans to join a terrorist group. His brother had already joined al-Qaeda linked Jabhat al-Nusra
...the current nom de guerre of al-Qaeda in the Levant, which isn't to be confused with al-Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant...
, the indictment says.
Known wolf, not lone wolf...
Mohamud's brother was killed in June 2014 while fighting for a branch of al-Qaeda in Syria. Mohamud returned to the U.S. days later and was jugged
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
in February.

Columbus has changed since I lived there some years ago. Do we have an immigration policy that screens these boneheads out after they leave? I should ask do we even have an immigration policy anymore or is it just completely an "open borders" free-for-all?

[DAWN] The vice-principal of the Jinnah Medical and Dental College's student affairs wing was shot and seriously injured on Shaheed-e-Millat Road, police said Thursday.
Nice lady with good intentions comes to help out. Somebody shoots her. It's an Islamic thing. You wouldn't understand.
Police identified the victim as American national Debra Lobo, and said she was attacked by four unidentified gunnies as she left the college premises on Shaheed-e-Millat Road.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, where doctors said that she is 'out of danger' after hours of treatment.

SSP East told Dawn.com that a flyer was recovered from the scene of the crime which appears to be from a bully boy group, saying the shooting was Dire Revenge for the killings of Lions of Islam in the Kemari encounter this week.

A police official told Dawn.com that 55-year-old Mrs Lobo had left the college at 3:00pm for her home when four gunnies shot her twice in the cheek and shoulder. He added that she hails from Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,.

Jinnah Medical and Dental College, where Lobo is an associate professor of community medicine, is affiliated with University of Bloody Karachi

Earlier today, Preedy Police Station's Station House Officer (SHO) was bumped off in Akhtar Colony.

SHO Aijaz Khawaja was in his car when he was severely injured after gunnies fired at him. He was rushed to Jinnah hospital where he departed this vale of tears.

King of Clubs -- Dead -- Finally?
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A former aide to late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and a leader of Iraq's insurgency, Ezzat Ibrahim al-Douri, may have been killed by Iraqi forces and Shi'ite militias involved in an operation against insurgent forces.

Raed al-Jubouri, the governor of Salahuddin province, told al-Arabiya television that al-Douri had been killed, and the station broadcast a photo of a dead man who looked like al-Douri.

"This is a major victory for those involved in the operation," al-Jubouri said. "He is considered a mastermind for this terrorist group," he said, referring to Islamic State, an offshoot of al Qaeda which has taken swathes of Syria and Iraq.

"For sure this will have an impact on them ... There will be a break among them," he said.

Islamic State, security forces clash in Iraq's largest refinery
[REUTERS] Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
Death Eaters clashed with security forces inside Iraq's largest refinery on Thursday and held on to recent gains in the west of the country, as Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the bully boy group remained "very, very dangerous".

The snuffies suffered a major defeat this month when Iraqi troops and Shi'ite paramilitaries routed them from the city of Tikrit, but are now striking back at Baiji refinery and in the western province of Anbar.

Baiji was attacked several days ago by the bully boys, who blasted their way through the perimeter and took control of several installations, including a distribution point and storage tanks. They have managed to hold those parts of Baiji.

A source in the military operations command for Salahuddin province where Baiji is located said an Iraqi army battalion had arrived to help defend the refinery on Thursday, and the Death Eaters had not been able to take any major infrastructure.

The top U.S. military officer, General Martin Dempsey, told news hounds "the refinery itself is at no risk right now." But he expressed concern
...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended...
that the Death Eaters had penetrated the refinery's outer perimeter and were now inside.

A front man for Iraq's Joint Operation Command on Thursday announced the full liberation of Ramadi, the picturesque provincial capital of Anbar province.

General Sa'ad Ma'an said the Iraqi forces have driven the ISIL gunnies out of Ramadi and the city is currently under the full control of government forces.

However,
man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them...
fierce festivities still continue on the outskirts of the city where ISIL Takfiris seized several villages earlier in the day, including Sofia, Abukhalifa and Sor. Two nearby districts of Bu Mahalat and Bu Sowda have been also captured by the ISIL myrmidons.

The Iraqi army has vowed no halt in the operation as it is poised to push ISIL out of the nearby villages in order to secure the army's positions inside the city.

Iraq: Thousands Flee as IS Advances on Ramadi
[VOA News] More than 2,000 families have fled from the Iraqi city of Ramadi, an official said Thursday, as the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group advanced on the picturesque provincial capital of the western Anbar province, clashing with Iraqi troops.

The Death Eater group, which has controlled the nearby city of Fallujah for more than a year, captured three villages on Ramadi's eastern outskirts on Wednesday. The advance is widely seen as a counteroffensive after the IS group lost the city of Tikrit, Saddam Hussein's hometown, earlier this month.

Hundreds of U.S. troops are training Iraqi forces at a military base west of Ramadi, but a U.S. military official said the fighting had no impact on the U.S. soldiers there, and that there were no plans to withdraw them.

Sattar Nowruz, from the Ministry of Migration and Displaced, said those fleeing Ramadi have settled in southern and western Baghdad suburbs.

Tents, food and other aid are being sent to them, he said. The ministry is also assessing the situation with the provincial government in order ``to provide the displaced people, who are undergoing difficult conditions, with better services and help,'' Nowruz said.

Sporadic festivities were still underway Thursday, according to security officials in Ramadi. Government forces control the city center, while the IS group has had a presence in the suburbs and outskirts for months. They described Ramadi as a ghost town, with empty streets and closed shops.

U.S.-led coalition Arclight airstrikes targeted the IS group in Sjariyah, Albu-Ghanim and Soufiya, the three villages the Lions of Islam captured Wednesday, the officials added. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to talk to the media.

Southeast Asia
Militants to face charges over deadly clash in Mamasapano
[Reuters] The Philippine justice department will file criminal cases against 90 Islamist militants for the death of 35 police commandos during a deadly January battle.

Justice Secretary Leila M. de Lima said, “We will file charges against the 90 suspects of MILF and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters [BIFF],” adding the cases were based on “findings and positive identification” by a witness.

She said some of the suspects belonged to a private armed group led by a political warlord who operates in the area and has links with militants.

The witness, identified only as “Marathon,” had named eight MILF field commanders and three from BIFF as having been involved in the killing of 35 members of the 55th Special Action Company, Ms. de Lima said. Only one member of the unit survived.

She said a 220-page investigation report, on which the cases are based, covers only the killing of 35 commandos in a known militant hideout in Mindanao. The justice department said a team of prosecutors and investigators has been given another two months to find out who killed the nine commandos, along with five civilians and 18 Muslim militants.

“We hope that [the MILF] would now give us access to the witnesses and families of civilian and rebel victims so we can file cases against those found responsible,” Ms. de Lima said.

#1  This will not end well.

The MILF continues to deny any responsibility for the deaths of the "SAF 44" at Mamasapano, hence many PH Officios + Analysts believe will see no reason to turn over these saidsame 90 Militants to Manila for judicial punishment of any sort.

group (IS/ISIS) in the city of Shaddadi in the southern countryside of Hasakah.

The pro-regime helicopters targeted the entrance of Masakin al-Mitain in Shaddadi and the vicinity of the National Hospital, causing the destruction of a number of residential buildings.

ARA News could not verify information about the IS losses.

Speaking to ARA News on the phone, Ali Swidan from Shaddadi, said that a white-colored helicopter was flying over the city of Shaddadi, coupled with the sound of a drone, "then we heard two kabooms, the first took place at the al-Bulghar Camp (housings for workers in the oil fields of Jibisa), while the second was in the industrial area."

"Afterwards, the marketplace in central Shaddadi was hit with missiles," he added.

Swidan pointed out that another raid targeted the al-Taqwa mosque, which is experiencing weekly meetings for imams in the areas that are under the group's control in southern Hasakah.

"The bombardment of the mosque, followed by the bombing of the Directorate of the Jibisa oil fields, and the hospital located on the western entrance of the city led to casualties among civilians," he added.

Eyewitnesses told ARA News that the IS corpse count as a result of the recent rocket attacks reached 90 forces of Evil so far, besides scores of casualties among civilians.

The city of Shaddadi (60 km south of Hasakah) is deemed the main IS stronghold in the southern areas of the province, and it is used by the group as a springboard for attacks on other areas of the Hasakah countryside.

Kurds continue advance against ISIS Northern Syria
[ARA] Kurdish forces of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) announced Wednesday that their fighters, in cooperation with the rebels of Burkan al-Furat Operations Chamber, have begun a new military campaign against the Islamic State (IS/ISIS) in the countryside of Kobane in the province of Aleppo, northern Syria.

The YPG’s Media Center issued a statement, of which ARA News received a copy, saying that in addition to the killing of six members of the terrorist group, the campaign resulted in the liberation of the following villages: Khan Mohammad, Hamadoun, Kharab Barakir, Saqi and Kirk.

“Our units (YPG) seized a big deal of ammunition and military equipment after liberating the villages from the IS terrorists,” the statement said, adding that two fighters of Burkan al-Furat lost their lives during the battles.

The YPG leadership pointed out that the IS group tried Tuesday night to launch an attack on the village of Koketba, but the Kurdish forces repelled the attack.

“The terrorists tried to break through the defensive lines of our forces through the use of a car bomb attack, but the YPG units were able to detonate it, killing nine of its crew,” the YPG’s MC said.

The Field media activist Omid Khoshman told ARA News on the phone that the military campaign is still ongoing, and has resulted in regaining control of new villages including Kaifoniya, Soghan and Khatoniya.

On Monday, the joint forces took control of other villages in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Kobane after advancing to the fighting front of Kharab Ashk and the Lafarge plant.

"He got a text message and he received a phone call from Syria, someone has told him his son has passed away. Then he said I tried his number, because he has contact with his son. Automatically, it goes to voicemail, that's what he said, and then he knew that his son is gone," SBS Somali radio broadcaster Ibrahim Mohammed said.

Meanwhile,

the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has not confirmed Jama's death, describing its capacity to do so as extremely limited.

"Due to the extremely dangerous security situation, consular assistance is no longer available within Syria," a spokesperson said.

"Australians who become involved in overseas conflicts are putting their own lives in mortal danger. Any Australians fighting with non-state militia in Syria or Iraq should end their involvement in the conflict now and leave the conflict zone."

News of Jama's death comes after Australian teenager Jake Bilardi, who left Melbourne last August to join ISIS, was also believed to have died in a suicide kaboom attack in Iraq in March.

34 killed in Assad airstrikes
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] As many as 34 people have been killed on Wednesday by Syrian Arclight airstrikes on rebel-held areas in north-western and southern parts of the country, a monitoring group said.

The aerial bombardment against areas in the north-western city of Idlib and its suburb Saraqeb left 24 people killed, including two children, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Britannia-based watchdog group said the strikes targeted a building where civilians were hiding, adding that other strikes hit the surroundings of the Abu Alduhur airbase, which is surrounded by the Al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front in the countryside of Idlib.

In the southern province of Daraa, another hotspot harbouring Al Qaeda murderous Moslems near the Jordanian borders, Arclight airstrikes by the Syrian air force killed 10 people, including seven children, Xinhua news agency reported citing the observatory.

Syrian state news agency SANA said the Syrian air force targeted convoys of vehicles and weaponry belonging to the rebels in the countryside of Idlib, destroying the convoys and killing tens of the Death Eaters.

The operation in Aleppo came just a day after the Syrian government forces backed by loyal fighters were said to have repelled an attack by the Nusra Front against the government-controlled district of Jamiyet al-Zahara in the western part of Aleppo city.

The Nusra murderous Moslems blew up a tunnel under the Aviation Intelligence Headquarters in Jamiyet al-Zahara, followed by intense battles that lasted for hours until Tuesday morning.

Opposition activists claimed that panic spread among the residents in the western part of Aleppo, and that the government started to empty its crucial institutions, such as the museum of Aleppo and the Central Bank.

The observatory said 40 crude barrel bombs were dropped on Yarmouk Camp for Paleostinian refugees since April 4, the day on which the air campaign over the camp was started. (IANS)
