Nangarhar police spokesperson said on Tuesday that the air strike was carried out in Shabi Kandaw area of Haska Mina district yesterday.
According to Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, weapons and ammunition of the group were also destroyed in bombing.
Nangarhar is the stronghold of Daesh [Islamic State] in the eastern part of the country where the group is trying to establish a base of operations in its rugged mountains.
Coalition officials estimate between 1,000 to 3,000 Islamic State fighters are stationed in eastern Afghanistan.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan intelligence operatives seized huge loads of weapons, ammunition and explosives by arresting a weapons supplier of the Taliban group in central Pashtun-infested Logar province of Afghanistan.
The National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) said the suspected supplier of weapons to the Taliban group was tossed in the slammer Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! during a special military operation in Khoshi district.
A statement by NDS said the weapons, ammunition and explosives were loaded on 7 vehicles which were confiscated by the intelligence operatives from Dobandi village.
The statement further added that 1 Ak-47 rifle, 16 improvised bomb, 350 kg of ammonium nitrate explosives, 48 kg of potassium nitrate explosives, 29 mortar rounds, 680 kg of drugs, 29 BM1 warheads, and various other types of explosives were seized by the intelligence operatives.
The Talibs group has not commented regarding the confiscation of the weapons and arrest of the group’s supplier.
This comes as the Taliban-led insurgency has been rampant during the recent months with the wave of violence being unprecedented even during the winter times when the turbans groups were normally reducing insurgency activities.

There are a lot more questions on the list, but you get the general idea. The idea that you have to take an electric drill to a person's kneecaps is a sign you're dealing with someone with sexual hangups or no access to drugs. [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 26 Talibs were killed in the latest infighting among two top Taliban leaders in western Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... province of Afghanistan.
According to the local security officials, festivities between the two top Taliban leaders, Mullah Samad and Mullah Nangialai, broke out on Monday afternoon in Shindand district.
A local security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said at least 15 bandidosmurderous Moslems belonging to Mullah Nangialai and 11 bandidosmurderous Moslems belonging to Mullah Samad were killed.
The official further added that the deadly infighting erupted due to differences on group’s leadership.
This comes as over 50 Taliban murderous Moslems were and as much others sustained injuries during a deadly infighting among the supporters of Taliban chief Mullah Akhtar Mansoor and dissident Taliban leader MULLAH Rasool early in the month of December last year.
The Taliban factions are occasionally engaging in deadly infighting, mainly due to differences over the group’s leadership, which changed following the death of the group’s founder Mullah Mohammad Omar.
Mullah Mansoor assumed charge of the Taliban group in July last year following the announcement of Taliban founder Mullah Mohammad Omar’s death.
His controversial appointment as new Taliban supreme leader led to widening rift among the Taliban leaders who are often entering into deadly clash.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan National Army (ANA) forces continue to suffer casualties at an alarming level amid deteriorating security situation across the country.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at least 10 soldiers of the Afghan National Army (ANA) bit the dust in fight against the terrorist groups in the past 24 hours.
The latest toll by the Ministry of Defense (MoD) puts the number of the Afghan soldiers to 36 who have bit the dust since the beginning of the week.
The steep rise in the Afghan army casualties comes as the Afghan security institutions have stepped up counter-terrorism operations in different parts of the country to suppress the anti-government armed forces of Evil activities.
The Taliban-led insurgency has been rampant since the beginning of the Afghan calendar year which is normally the time the Taliban group launch their summer offensive.
According to the earlier estimates by security officials, the Afghan army deaths stood at 4 service members daily on average which is mainly caused due to improvised bomb (IED) attacks.
The officials are also saying that the Afghan cops casualties have increased sharply since they have taken full control of the security responsibilities from the coalition forces at the start of last year.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have retaken full control of Dand-e-Shahabuddin from Talibs in northern Baghlan province of Afghanistan.
According to the local security officials, the area has been fully cleared as a result of the counter-terrorism operations launched late in the month of January.
The area was under the control of the Talibs for a period of one and half month, with local officials saying the Talibs suffered casualties during the operations retake the control of the area.
This comes as the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) took full control of Dand-e-Ghori district from the Talibs last week.
Baghlan is located near the restive Kunduz province in the north and has increasingly became a restive province during the recent months.
The operations were launched amid concerns that the group was creating safe havens and preparing for the summer offensive by continuing to the procurement and training of bully boys.
Several power lines were also damaged as the operations kicked off, cutting the power supply to capital Kabul ...the capital of Afghanistan. Details are still emerging of what appears to have been a major smuggling plot at Mitiga airport on Sunday.
Gold and cash are said to have been found onboard a Libyan Wings flight heading to Istanbul which was told to return to Mitiga some half an hour into its flight.
There are conflicting reports of how the gold was discovered and how much.
One widely-reported version quotes security at Mitiga airport claiming that more than three hundred kilogrammes of gold, as well as well as €1.7 million euros, $500,000 and undisclosed amounts in other currencies were found and that five people had been arrested.
The report also says that the plane was ordered to turn back after the crew said that there were bags of gold on board.
Another report puts the amount at a more modest seven kilos of gold, that security forces were tipped off about the smuggling and that they then ordered it to return.
The first claim appears wholly unrealistic. For the crew to have discovered the gold means that it was in the cabin, not in the hold. However, three hundred kilos of gold would require some ten large suitcases. Even in lawless Libya, these would not have been allowed in the cabin.
Suggestions are being made that the ground staff or those connected to the airline were involved. However, no evidence to that effect has been disclosed.
Indeed, no evidence of anything has been disclosed.
A relative of prime-minister designate Faiez Serraj was murdered in Tripoli this morning in what appears to have been a car-jacking.
Details are limited of the killing of a man who some sources are describing as a cousin of Serraj. Dr Nasser Serraj, an obstetrician and gynaecologist practicing in the capital, had apparently just climbed into his car after leaving dawn prayers at an unidentified mosque. Gunmen ran up and ordered him out of his vehicle. When he refused he was shot dead. The attackers reportedly then pulled his body from the car and drove off in it.

Prime Minister Habib Essid said around 50 holy warriors were believed to have taken part in Monday's coordinated attack on an army barracks and police and National Guard posts in the border town of Ben Guerdane.
He said that 36 attackers had been killed and seven captured in a fierce battle that also saw the deaths of seven civilians and 12 security force personnel.
Essid told a news conference that the bandidosbully boyz "murdered one internal security force member in his own home".

ISTANBUL – Militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) stormed on Tuesday an all-girls school in the southern Yemeni port city of Aden, and threatened to mercilessly punish the students if they violated the Sharia dress.
The radical group had issued a statement earlier on Monday, calling on all women in Aden, including school girls, to show commitment to the dress code imposed by ISIS under the pretext of applying the Sharia law.
Local sources reported that ISIS militants vowed to publicly punish anyone who violates the group’s dress code.
“They broke into an all-girls school in central Aden on Tuesday afternoon and threatened to execute any student who refuses to wear the burqa in public,” an eyewitness said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
“Girls are not allowed to wear the usual school uniform anymore,” the source said. “ISIS also tries to interfere in the educational system and adjust the schools’ curriculum in accordance with its radical dogma.”
Speaking to ARA News, rights activist Razan Shawah said: “ISIS has violated all human values. The region has seen the most barbaric practices at the hands of this terror group.”
Shawah demanded the international community to intervene and save the Yemeni people from ISIS.

[Dhaka Tribune] Police’s Detective Branch says it has killed a suspected bully boy in a shootout in Dhaka.
Pias, a member Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), became a leader of its Dhaka unit military wing in January, DB (south) Deputy Commissioner Mashrukur Rahman Khaled said, claiming that Pias had planned major attacks in the capital.
He said they were informed that Pias was in Khilgaon and raided the area in the early hours of yesterday. Pias and his associates fired at DB and was injured in retaliatory fire. He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead He's dead, Jim! , Mashrukur told the Dhaka Tribune.
Police recovered a pistol, ammunition and three improvised bombs from the scene, he added.
On January 13, JMB’s Dhaka north military wing commander Abdullah Al Noman alias Abdullah, 31, and its central military wing’s second-in-command Kamal alias Hiron, 25, were killed in an alleged shootout with DB at Hazaribagh.
DB Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam claimed the two were involved in the bombing on Shias and killing of two coppers in Dhaka.
Replying to a question, Mashrukur said Pias became JMB’s Dhaka unit military wing leader after the death of Noman and Hiron.
He claimed Pias was also involved in a bank robbery in Chittagong. "He was an expert bomb maker. He had been living in Dhaka’s Kamrangirchor for a while and learning driving, presumably to carry out major attacks in Dhaka," the DB officer added.

The order paves the way for Quasem's walk to gallows for the crimes against humanity he had committed during the Liberation War including abduction, torture and murder of freedom fighters at torture cells in the port city.
A five-member full bench of the Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, delivered the short verdict before a packed courtroom at 9:42am yesterday.
The convict will get 15 days after the top court publishes its full verdict to file a review petition. If the petition is rejected or the convict does not file a petition, he will get a chance to seek the president's mercy. In case of its rejection or if he does not seek clemency, the government will carry out the sentence of the International Crimes Tribunal given in 2014.
The judgement was applauded by all quarters including those who had expressed doubts over Quasem's capital punishment in the backdrop of a rumour of the chief justice's favouring the defence in the case.
The defence said that they would file a review petition while Quasem's party Jamaat-e-Islami ...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. The apex court upheld the Jamaat leader's sentences on seven charges, including one which had brought him death in the war crimes case. He was acquitted from three other proven charges including the one that earned him death.
Quasem's death was upheld for the abduction, torture and murder of 15-year-old freedom fighter Jasim of Sandwip in confinement at al-Badr torture cell in Daleem Hotel in Andarkilla area of Chittagong.
According to the charge, any time after the Eid-ul-Fitr day of 1971, Quasem made a plan and at his instigating, the members of al-Badr force kidnapped Jasim from an unknown place of the Chittagong City and took him to Daleem Hotel.

[ManchesterReview] Terror police brought in to investigate imam attack case after IS material uncovered
Anti-terror police have been called in to investigate the death of Rochdale imam Jalal Uddin. The investigation into Mr Uddin’s death has been escalated after the discovery of material linked to the Islamic State terror group during a series of raids last week.
Mr Uddin had made efforts to turn youngsters away from radical Islam.
The 64-year-old was attacked as he walked through a children’s park last month. He was taken to hospital but died later.
Mr Uddin had been to evening prayers at the Bilal Jamia Masjid Mosque. He was on his way to visit a friend when the attack happened close to South Street in the Wardleworth area of the town on February 18.
A post mortem examination revealed he died from a head injury.
Detectives investigating the death raided three properties last week, and so far three people have been arrested.
But the discovery of material connected to the so-called Islamic State terror group prompted Greater Manchester Police to call in counter terrorism experts, who are now leading the enquiry. Detectives are now examining the material, which includes digital media thought to have been found on computers or smart phones.

He added that "Such incidents of spying have existed in the past also" and service personnel are regularly educated on the modus operandi being adopted by the Pak Intelligence Operatives.
"Further, such spying activities are related to providing defence related information like Army deployment, movement and training exercises, appointment of senior officers, formation sign, tactical number etc," the Defence Minister said.
Replying to supplementaries, he said in case of the Army, the services of three personnel who were arrested have already been terminated while services of two personnel of Indian Air Force have been terminated.
When pointed out that earlier a Minister has said that a total of 11 Army personnel were arrested for involvement with ISI, Parrikar said his reply is about serving Army officers.
He then informed that seven ex-servicemen had also been arrested for such activities.
He said while the Army has already terminated their services, cases have also been filed against them, which are undergoing in different courts. Parrikar assured the members that the Government is following all proceedures as per law in this matter.

[DAWN] At least 21 hard boyz were killed in air strikes and ground operations that began overnight in Shawal area near the Pak-Afghan border, the military’s media wing claimed on Tuesday.
Military front man Asim Bajwa said the Pakistain Air Force (PAF) and Army Aviation's helicopter gunships carried out strikes in Shawal Valley of North Wazoo. The strikes began Monday night and continued into Tuesday, he said.

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A source in Peshmerga forces in Kirkuk Province announced on Tuesday, that 200 people fled from the areas controlled by ISIS southwest and north of Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad), while emphasized that the escapees arrived in the areas controlled by Peshmerga forces.
The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “200 people, including children and women escaped from the areas controlled by ISIS in southern and western Kirkuk, as well as the regions of Zab, al-Qaraj, al-Kwir and the outskirts of Makhmour (75 km north-west of Kirkuk),” noting that, “The Peshmerga forces received the escaped families in Makhmour axis.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The families are in extremely difficult situation, after spending the whole day trying to avoid ISIS fighters to reach the areas controlled by Peshmerga.”

Police officers shot and killed an Arab Israeli woman as she attempted to stab them in Jerusalem’s Old City on Tuesday, officials said.
No officers were maimed in the attack. The assailant died of wounds suffered from gunfire, police said.
The 50-year-old woman, an Israeli citizen, approached the officers who were standing on Hagai Street, which runs from the Damascus Gate to the Western Wall. As she got closer, she took a knife out of her bag and attempted to stab them, police said.
"The officers who were in clear and present danger responded quickly and professionally. They shot and neutralized the threat," police said in a statement.
Police officers who arrived on the scene gave the woman first aid, but after a few minutes they pronounced her dead at the scene, police said.
The assailant’s name was Fadwa Ahmad Muhammad Abu Tier, according to the Paleostinian Ma’an news outlet. She was a resident of the Umm Tuba neighborhood of East Jerusalem and an Israeli citizen, a spokesperson said.

IDF troops closed off two West Bank villages late Tuesday, after apparently unrelated attacks in Petah Tikva and Jaffa earlier in the day left one person dead and a dozen injured, an army spokesperson said. The villages are believed to be those of the two attackers.
Security forces also entered the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya, the hometown of another assailant who shot upcoppers outside the Old City on Tuesday afternoon, injuring two, one of them critically.
The Lions of Islam who carried out the attacks in Petah Tikva and Jaffa had entered Israeli illegally and did not possess work permits, the police revealed on Tuesday night.
According to an initial police investigation, the attacks were not related to one another or coordinated in any way.

In the West Bank, the two Paleostinian villages of Zawiya and Hajjah were sealed off "following a situational assessment and in light of the recent terror attacks," the IDF said.
Zawiya, located just inside the West Bank near the Israeli city of Rosh Ha’Ayin, is the hometown of Abed el-Rahman Mahmoud Radad, the 18-year-old Paleostinian who attacked a man in Petah Tikva.
Radad stabbed the man in the upper body repeatedly, before the man fought back. The victim managed to remove the knife from his own neck and use it to stab and subdue his attacker, aided by a store owner, police said. Ranad died a few minutes later.
The army also closed off the Paleostinian village of Hajjah, located between Nablus and Qalqilya, which appears to be the hometown of 22-year-old Bashar Massalha, who carried out the Jaffa stabbing attack.
There was some initial confusion over Massalha’s residence, as police first indicated that he was from Qalqilya, and not the nearby Hajjah.
Police said the attacker first stabbed three people along the Jaffa boardwalk, a popular site for shopping and leisure, before fleeing slightly inland toward the city’s Kikar Hasha’on, where he stabbed three more people. He went on to stab at least four people near the Dolphinarium on the border with Tel Aviv.
The attacker was rubbed out by police after a chase from the Jaffa Port along the Tel Aviv beach promenade.
In light of the attacks, the Israel Police called for citizens to "not allow any person who does not have official permission, to illegally reside in Israel," Samri said.

The Paleostinian security services in recent weeks uncovered a Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, cell in Hebron planning terror attacks against Israel including shootings and kidnappings, senior Paleostinian officials told the Times of Israel.
The first arrests were made by Paleostinian intelligence units several weeks ago and since then there have a number of further arrests of Hamas operatives in the West Bank city.
Israeli sources confirmed the arrests.
The Hebron cell was operated by the terror group’s so-called West Bank bureau, which is situated in Gazoo but overseen by Hamas operatives originally from the West Bank and deported to Gazoo as part of the prisoner exchange for captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit in 2011.
The bureau is headed by Abd el-Rahman Ghanimat and Mazen Fuqha.
Ghanimat was formerly a member of the notorious "Surif squad" -- a terrorist cell headed by Ibrahim Ghanimat responsible for a series of attacks against Israelis in the 1990s.
Abd el-Rahman Ghanimat was serving five life sentences when he was released under the Shalit deal.
Since the first arrests were made, Hamas media outlets have reported that Paleostinian Authority security forces have each week tossed in the calaboose Into the paddy wagon wit' yez! a few activists who identify with Hamas. In one incident a Hamas-affiliated student and member of the student union of the Paleostine Polytechnic University Was arrested at the entrance to the campus.
The West Bank bureau is thought to be responsible for all Hamas attacks in the West Bank, with a number of cells aside from the Hebron group raided by PA security.

Though Arouri has left Istanbul, Israeli defense officials say a Hamas presence in the city similar to the West Bank Bureau continues to direct attacks against Israelis.
In February, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Turkey was allowing them to continue operating, and said it could hold up any possible detente between Jerusalem and Ankara.
"The Turks support Hamas, and this needs to be discussed," he said. "I am not sure that it will be possible to reach an arrangement of relations with Turkey."

[IsraelTimes] Israeli man who was stabbed multiple times Tuesday afternoon in a terror attack in Petah Tikva managed to remove the knife from his neck and use it to stab and neutralize his attacker, aided by the store owner, police said.
The attacker, a Palestinian, died a few minutes later, police said. The victim, later named as Yonatan Azarihab, an ultra-Orthodox man of about 40 who suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body, was hospitalized in moderate condition.
The store owner was not injured.
The Palestinian assailant had followed Azarihab, who was collecting money for charity, into a wine shop on the central city's Baron Hirsch Street and began stabbing him "multiple times" in the upper body in a "frenzied attack," police said.
At one point, Azarihab managed to break away and fled the store, while the owner of the store hit the attacker and tried to subdue him, police said. The victim then returned to the store, pulled the knife out of his own neck, and stabbed his attacker. You want some of DIS?!?!
Initial reports had said the stabbing may have occurred during an altercation; however, the incident was later confirmed by police as a terror attack.

[Bangkok Post] A police officer and a village leader gunned down in separate attacks in Tak Bai and Si Sakhon districts of Narathiwat on Tuesday afternoon.
The first attack when a police team providing security for frequently targeted teachers was returning from a bird singing contest. Pol Sr Sgt Maj Maripeng Cheyi was walking among villagers when he was approached by a man who fired one shot into his head, killing him instantly. The murder happened about 20 meters from the school's entrance gate. The gunman stole a pistol and a rifle from his victim and fled on a waiting motorcyle.
In the second attack, village chief Abdulroseh Jeha was traveling by motorcycle, taking a report on a suspected insurgent to the authorities in Si Sakhon district when he was ambushed and killed.
ALEPPO – Syrian Islamist rebels attacked a Kurdish district in northern Aleppo with chemical weapons, leadership of the Kurdish forces of People’s Protection Units (YPG) said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The Sheikh Maqsoud district in Aleppo was attacked with chemical weapons on Tuesday evening. Radical groups launched dozens of rockets filled with yellow phosphorus element,” the statement read.
The YPG’s leadership stressed that the attack was conducted by several Syrian Islamist armed groups, including the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, the Levant Front, Sultan Murad Brigade, Sultan Fatih group, Fastaqim Kama Umirt Brigades, Nour ad-Din Zanki militia, Brigade 13 and 116, the First Regiment and Abu Amarah Brigades.
The bombardment, which continued until Tuesday midnight, caused dozens of casualties among civilians.
Speaking to ARA News in Aleppo, rights activist Rezan Hiddo appealed to the international community and human rights organizations to intervene and stop the fierce attack on the Kurdish district of Sheikh Maqsoud.
“We do not see any sympathy with the Kurdish civilians who suffer under those barbaric chemical attacks in Aleppo,” he argued. “Lives of hundreds of Kurdish children are at risk.”
The activist reported a sharp shortage of medicines in the district, which has been under siege by Islamist rebel groups for months.
Earlier on Sunday, at least 16 civilians were killed in Sheikh Maqsoud, mostly women and children, after insurgents fired dozens of rockets on the Kurdish district, according to local sources.
